Story
Ursula is a 3-year-old Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix) who weighs 25lbs. She is energetic and playful so she will thrive in an active home where she can burn off her energy before settling in for the night. She likes to jump so a standard size fence is a must.   Ursula is smart. She has already mastered sit, paw, down, and she’ll even wait for her dinner. Because she’s a clever girl with a typical Beagle stubborn streak, she would love a family that continues her training. It’s a great way to bond with her!   Ursula is a lap dog and she likes to cuddle in her humans bed. She is not a fan of the crate. She needs a home where someone is around most of the time.   She can be a little shy at first with new people but treats will win her over.   If you have a secure yard, a cozy bed to share, and plenty of time for love and training, Ursula is ready to start her next adventure with you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 11, 2026, 11:48 am

Story
MEET MOIRA ROSE. 🖤She is named her after the Schitt’s Creek character for two very specific reasons: that fabulous underbite, and the all-black wardrobe. If you know, you know.Moira Rose is some sort of a pug mix or boxer mix (that’s our best guess) with the softest, shiniest black coat you have ever put your hands on, and she would like a home. Moira Rose is about 2 years old and weighs about 25 lbs. She's a perfect medium sized girly! She spent the first eighteen months of her life as a stray, out in the world with her sisters. No safety net. No help. Just three girls fighting for survival — and they made it. They are survivors. She came to us in March, pregnant, and she gave birth to the Blarney Stone babies on St. Patrick’s day and she was the most devoted, attentive mama we have ever seen. All of her babies have found their forever homes. Now it’s Moira’s turn. She is housebroken. She is a world-class cuddle bug who will find your pillow and share it with you and you will have zero complaints. She bounces — and we mean that literally. This dog defies gravity. She hits the ground and springs back up like physics are optional, and watching her glide through the air mid-play is one of the purest joys we can offer you.She loves other dogs — genuinely, enthusiastically, she needs them!. She has never known a life without a pack, from her sisters on the streets to the crew she runs with in her foster home, and she thrives with canine company. A home with at least one other dog would make her world. She likes cats too — she just understands they’re not players, and she respects that completely. No drama. No pressure. Just vibes. She does not have a single aggressive bone in her body. She takes a little bit of time to warm up to men, but she wants to love everyone!Moira Rose survived eighteen months on her own. She survived pregnancy and birth and raising babies and saying goodbye to every single one of them. She has earned her soft landing about ten times over.Is that landing with you? 🖤🧡If you are interested in opening your heart and home to Miss Moira Rose, pleae apply for her at ricopetrecovery.org.The adoption fee is $250 and includes the spay surgery and all the vaccines she has received.

Story
Molly is a young female who was found as a stray with her pregnant sister. She looks like a pug mix, maybe with a boxer. But that is a guess based on her good looks!!Molly can be shy when she first meets new people. She was very skiddish when she first arrived in her foster home and she took a few days to warm up. She is still nervous in new situations and can still be spooked by loud noises. However, once she is comfortable, she reveals her true playful, and silly personality!! Molly is crate trained but doesn’t need to be crated other than for her comfort and security. Molly is potty trained. She is very playful and loves zoomies. Molly is not cat tested. Molly adores her sister and her sister's babies. We are gradually introducing her to other dogs.We do not recommend Molly for a house with young children because she would likely be very nervous around young playful kiddos. Molly will need a fenced yard or will need to be kept leashed outside at all times. The adoption fee for Molly is $250 and includes two sets of shots, spay surgery and microchip at our partner veterinarian.Apply to meet this sweet girl at www.ricopetrecovery.org.

Story
Sweet Bailey was born in our care on March 17, 2026. A Happy Saint Patrick's Day surprise!! Bailey's mom is in our care and looks like a Boxer mix, maybe with some pug or some English bulldog. The dad is unknown. Whatever the mix, these puppies are sweet, healthy and smart! They are all well socialized with people and with other dogs. We estimate that Bailey will be a medium sized girlie full grown (about 40 lbs).If you are looking for a sweet, playful, cuddly puppy with a side of forehead wrinkles, apply to meet Bailey at www.ricopetrecovery.org.Bailey received her first vaccines on May 13, and will be ready to go to her forever home after she receives her second vaccines in about 3 weeks. The adoption fee for Bailey is $350 and includes the first two sets of vaccines, spay and microchip at our partner veterinarian when she is old enough to be spayed. The adopter is responsible for the third and fourth sets of puppy vaccines and any additional vet care.
