Story
Emmi joined Rescue Row in November 2020 after a breeder decided they no longer had a use for her. Just two months later, she was adopted and began life with her family. Sadly, Emmi was returned to Rescue Row three weeks ago after the circumstances within her previous home changed, and her family was no longer able to care for her. Over the past three weeks, we have been getting to know Emmi again, and her foster mom reports that she is a wonderful girl! She is calm, quiet, affectionate, house trained, and incredibly well-mannered. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides well in the car, loves her toys and treats, and is happiest snuggled up next to her people. Emmi would be great as an only dog. She was dog friendly when initially with RR six years ago, but she has not been around other dogs since then and is currently in a foster home as an only dog. We are unsure of how she is with other dogs at this time, but she would likely do well with another calm and easygoing canine friend. Now 11 years old, Emmi is looking for a quiet home without children where she can enjoy her golden years. If you are interested in adopting Emmi, we are accepting applications at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##913690##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ben Franklin! He’s 25lbs, neutered, approx 20 months old now, ultra sweet and exceptionally playful. He has juvenile Cataracts and we’ve started a fundraiser for the $10k needed for surgery. He is potty trained. Is very dog friendly but not tested on cats. He does well inside the crate and not a barker. He is very polite with food around other dogs and plays nicely sharing toys. He has a gentle mouth and takes gently from the hand. He’s not a fan of being on a leash but will do it, and again once he’s got corrected vision, I’m sure will be happier being taken for walks. He is a little hyper, and bouncy, and I believe this might be due to his lack of vision so his other senses are hyper stimulated, but will sit on command, and come when called. I think that’s once he can see again he will be easier to settle and easier to train and learn about boundaries. If interested in this adorable guy, we can certainly provide additional details on his upcoming cataracts surgery.

Meet Lilly – A Little Puppy with a Big Heart If you’re looking for a puppy who will fill your home with joy, love, and nonstop smiles—Lilly just might be your perfect match. Lilly is everything people adore about Boston Terriers. She’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and incredibly intelligent, with a personality that shines the moment you meet her. She loves being around people, thrives on attention, and embraces each day with pure happiness and curiosity. Whether she’s bouncing around with puppy energy or snuggling up for cuddles, Lilly’s gentle, cheerful spirit wins hearts instantly. Lilly’s Special Story Lilly does have a special medical condition affecting her bladder and bowel control, believed to be due to a congenital neurological issue. While this means she will need a little extra care, the outlook for her life is overwhelmingly positive: She is otherwise healthy and thriving She’s active, mobile, and playful like any puppy She can urinate on her own Her condition is considered manageable—not life-limiting No surgery is needed at this time Long-term care will include diapers and routine hygiene Most importantly—Lilly doesn’t let anything slow her down. She runs, plays, explores, and loves just like any other pup. Her condition is only a small part of who she is—it does not define her. Why Lilly is So Special Lilly is the kind of puppy who reminds you what unconditional love is all about. She has a bright, resilient spirit and an incredible capacity to bring joy into a home. Dogs like Lilly have a way of forming deep, meaningful bonds with their people and she is ready to give her heart to someone who will cherish her just as much. The Home Lilly Needs Lilly is looking for a compassionate, committed forever family that understands that her care requires a little extra effort but comes with immeasurable rewards. If you have room in your heart for a special puppy who will love you endlessly, Lilly is waiting to meet you. Lilly isn’t defined by her challenges—she’s defined by her joy. And she’s ready to share it with someone special. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2026, 12:05 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Female OS from Beaumont AS Coco is a beautiful Boston Terrier (possibly a mix) with a loving heart and a zest for life that's impossible to resist. At approximately 3 years old, she's the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles. Coco's story began with heartbreak. After her beloved owner suddenly passed away, she was surrendered to a high-kill shelter by family members who didn't keep her. Through no fault of her own, Coco found herself scared, confused, and in danger of losing everything she had ever known. Thankfully, American Boston Terrier Rescue & Rehabilitation stepped in to give her a second chance. Since coming into rescue, Coco has been spayed and has absolutely flourished in her foster home near Austin, Texas. With love, stability, and a safe place to land, her true personality has emerged, and what a wonderful girl she is! Coco adores people and gets along great with other dogs. She's happiest when she's chasing a ball, working on a favorite Nylabone, or snuggling up next to her humans for some quality cuddle time. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a playmate, or a couch companion, Coco is happy to fill the role. She has no known special needs and is simply looking for what every dog deserves: a family who will love her forever. After losing the person she loved most, Coco has shown incredible resilience and grace. Now she's ready to write her happy ending with a family who will treasure her for the amazing dog she is. Could Coco be the missing piece of your family? Apply today and give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves!
