Story
Location: TX (transport to an approved home in certain areas) Meet Bozo: The Boston Terrier, the Drama King, and Apparently the Mayor of the Horse Stable Bozo Boston Terrier Approximately 4-ish years old 16 pounds Neutered, UTD on vaccines, UTD on monthly preventions and microchippedBasically, Bozo is your typical Boston Terrier: funny noises, big opinions, selective drama, and enough personality packed into 16 pounds to keep life interesting. This little fool is currently being fostered at a horse stable. Yes, a horse stable. But don't worry—he isn't out there trying to become a cowboy.  He stays in a living-room area attached to the stable and has been around horses, vehicles coming and going, ranch hands, and other dogs.He is fine with the other dogs and has been handled by several male ranch hands with no issues.Bozo also has a funny Boston bark/cry, because apparently regular barking was just too basic for him.At the vet clinic, he was perfectly fine with everyone... until they tried to draw his blood. Then the Boston Terrier Drama Department opened for business. Ironically? He didn't even flinch when he got microchipped.Bozo is not neutered yet and did mark at the clinic, although let's be honest—the clinic smells like approximately 47,000 other dogs. His foster has not reported marking in the home.As for potty training, he does well during the day when someone is around and will let them know when he needs to go outside. Overnight is a different story—if it's been too many hours, he may poop inside. His foster is going to try potty pads and see how he does with those. He's also good on a leash, although if something smells interesting, he may suddenly decide that wherever you were headed is no longer important.A few important things about Bozo:Bozo has an old eye injury and does not have vision in that eye. The vet believes the injury is old, and unfortunately, he will not regain his sight.Because of that blind eye, Bozo can occasionally react when someone suddenly comes at him from that side. He was uncomfortable when children tried grabbing at him, and he can be a little snappy if startled or approached unexpectedly from his blind side. That being said, I had absolutely zero issues with him, and he was fine with everyone at the clinic until they attempted the blood draw and offended his delicate Boston Terrier sensibilities. So Bozo needs people who understand that you don't just come flying at a dog—especially one with limited vision—and start grabbing on him like he's a stuffed animal. He's a funny, typical, slightly dramatic Boston Terrier looking for a home where he can be safe, loved, and allowed to continue making ridiculous noises and acting like minor inconveniences are personal attacks. If you like short dogs with big personalities, questionable vocal effects, and a flair for the dramatic... Bozo may be your guy. **We do not allow electric fences/halo collars, runners/tethers, or doggy doors** ##2824547##
