Boston Terrier

Male, 1 yr 7 mos
Provo, UT
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained,
**Fostered in Roy, WA and ready for meet & greets!** THE BEST! His foster family says that Pumba is the absolute easiest and best foster she has ever had! This adorable little nugget is about as perfect as it gets. He has the absolute cutest smile around, makes adorable little snorting noises, and will keep you laughing and smiling. He’s the ultimate companion and a true social butterfly! This bundle of joy and cuteness is bursting with personality. You will never find another pup like him, and to miss out on him would be a shame. Pumba always has a smile on his face and he loves everything! He is curious, loves to explore, loves to go on car rides, loves walks, loves to play, loves kids and dogs, and loves to nap! Naturally funny, he will make you giggle even if he’s just sitting there. He has the most expressive face and he makes the cutest little snorting noises, like a little piggy. When he plays with his toys, he can entertain himself for an hour by tossing his toy up in the air and then trying to catch it. He is the funniest play companion to other dogs too! Pumba has a moderate energy level and he loves to cuddle and nap after a good play session. He loves to snuggle up with both human and doggy friends. He has done great around children as young as 3, and we think he would make an excellent family dog. He is so easy going and tolerant with everyone. No kitties for this guy, though. Watch his video here: Already fully crate trained and potty trained, he’s the perfect house guest. He is so smart and eager to please and could easily learn more commands. He does sit nicely for a treat. Pumba already knows how to use a doggy door too. He will pull on leash when he sees another dog he wants to meet, but it’s just out of excitement. I’m sure this could improve with some leash training. We believe Pumba may be a Boston Terrier mix or Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. We estimate he’s approximately 1 year old and he currently weighs 45 lbs full grown! He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. He has a cute, corkscrew tail and a shiny healthy coat. Pumba is incredibly dog social and does great meeting every dog we’ve introduced him to. He’s even spent time at Camp Bow Wow and he was the star of the show there. He does pull on the leash when he is meeting new dogs for the first time because he is so excited and does better with off leash introductions. He met dogs as little as 20 lbs and as big as 60 lbs and all he wanted to do is make friends with them all. Pumba is very tolerant with all sorts of play styles. His favorite type of play is rough and rowdy and he also enjoys a good game of chase. Pumba was also introduced to an older dominant female that gives very loud corrections when she doesn’t want to play or if a dog is being too pushy with her and he accepted the corrections very well. He loves to play and will be best placed in a home with another moderately playful dog. He matches the other dog's energy and will respect their space. Pumba is a true one-of-a-kind friend who can’t be matched. From the laughter and fun, to the snuggles and TV watching, to the car rides and adventures you’ll explore together…Pumba is ready for it all! Don’t miss out on this incredible boy! Application link: Please email with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Boston Terrier/American Bulldog

Female, 1 yr 9 mos
Kanab, UT
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Frannie is a sweet, shy girl who takes a little time to warm up to people. She will take tasty treats from your hand as she builds trust and once she does, this cutie will steal your heart! Frannie feels more comfortable and confident when she's with her dog friends and would do best in a home with another dog to show her the ropes. She will need a home that can be patient with her as she learns about the world around her, as well as a home that can keep her safe since she is a flight risk and can climb fences. If you're interested in meeting Frannie, please fill out an adoption application today.
