Meet Biscuit Abandoned with His Mom and Siblings—Biscuit Is Ready to Grow Up in a Family of His Own ❤️ Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Gender: Male | DOB/Age: May 09, 2026 | Current Weight: 3 pounds (Very Small Puppy) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats: Unknown | Kids ✔️ with appropriate puppy supervision Medical: Neuter Pending (Age-Appropriate) | Vaccination Status: Current for age | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue provides safe transportation to approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Biscuit's Story Biscuit was found alongside his mother and littermates after the entire little family had been abandoned. Instead of beginning life in a safe home, Biscuit and his siblings suddenly depended on their mother and the kindness of strangers for survival. Fortunately, they were found and brought into rescue. Now Biscuit gets to experience the things that should define puppyhood—warm beds, full meals, toys, affection, and people who care about what happens to him. Biscuit is still very young, so his personality is developing every day. He's curious about his surroundings and learning how much fun life can be when he feels safe. With consistent love, training, and socialization, he has every opportunity to grow into a confident and affectionate family companion. As a Pug / Chihuahua Mix, Biscuit may combine the Pug's outgoing, playful charm with the Chihuahua's intelligence, alertness, and devotion. Both breeds tend to enjoy companionship and being involved in whatever their families are doing. Biscuit needs a family prepared to provide: Positive reinforcement puppy training House-training and consistent routines Safe, age-appropriate socialization Daily play and mental enrichment Plenty of companionship and affection Appropriate exercise as he grows A safe indoor home Lifelong commitment and veterinary care Biscuit's first home wasn't forever. We're determined to make sure his next one is. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Biscuit is a puppy, which means his adopter will be responsible for teaching him the skills he needs to become a well-mannered adult dog. Expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, playful bursts of energy, and curiosity. The 3-3-3 Rule is a helpful reminder: 3 Days to begin decompressing 3 Weeks to start understanding his routine 3 Months to become truly comfortable in his new home Biscuit will benefit from early positive reinforcement training, consistent house-training, safe socialization, and plenty of patience. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Biscuit's future family must be prepared for the responsibilities that come with raising a puppy. His ongoing care should include: Completion of all age-appropriate vaccinations Neutering when age-appropriate Routine veterinary wellness examinations Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention A nutritionally complete puppy diet Dental care Continued training and socialization Appropriate exercise and enrichment Lifelong veterinary care We recommend establishing care with a veterinarian shortly after adoption and maintaining regular wellness visits throughout Biscuit's life. Adoption Information To apply to adopt Biscuit, please visit: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is based in Los Angeles, California, and we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Biscuit didn't get to choose how his life began. His forever family gets to change everything that comes next. He's ready for a childhood filled with adventures, affection, and the security of finally belonging. ❤️September 7, 2026, 12:35 pm
