This Boston Terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Min Pin magic!) is as charming as they come. Sadly, Otis lost his beloved human, and his tender heart has been looking for someone new to love ever since.  Otis is the definition of a loyal friend—he adores people and is wonderful with other dogs. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he’ll happily bring joy to any home. The only thing he asks is a cat-free environment, since our feline friends aren’t his cup of tea. Healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Otis is ready to start fresh. This young, 35-pound Boston Terrier mix has come such a long way since arriving at the shelter. At first, he was a little unsure and feisty — the world can be a big, scary place when you’re not sure who to trust. But every day, he’s showing more of his sweet, gentle nature, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come. Now, Chicken Nugget is calm and easy to handle. He’s learning that harness time means adventure, not worry, and he’s a wonderful walking buddy. On leash, he stays relaxed and does well walking alongside other dogs. He also seems to do well with other pups overall — meet and greets are always required, of course, to make sure it’s the perfect fit. And there’s even more good news: Chicken Nugget may have the potential to live successfully with feline friends! He’s shown appropriate curiosity and behavior that tells us he could be a good match with the right cat and careful introductions. When you call him over, he’ll lean softly against your knees, soaking up every bit of love, and he’ll reward you with gentle, grateful kisses. He’s fully vetted, neutered, and ready to start the next chapter of his life — one filled with soft beds, kind words, and a person who’ll see the wonderful dog he truly is. Because while he’s gained confidence and calmness here, Chicken Nugget’s heart is waiting to belong to someone. He’ll do best in an adult-only home where he can continue to grow and feel safe.
