Meet Ace! Somehow, this sweet boy has found himself back where his story started. Ace was adopted from us a few years ago as a puppy, but unfortunately, his owner was moving and could no longer keep him. So Ace returned to MHS, ready to start the next chapter of his life. When Ace arrived, he was covered in fleas and had developed a skin issue as a result. But our team immediately jumped into action! We got those pesky fleas taken care of and started Ace on a treatment plan to help his skin feel healthy and comfortable again. We think Ace may be a Boxer mix, but honestly... your guess is as good as ours! What we do know is that he's a sweet, handsome boy who is ready to put the past behind him and find the family he's been waiting for. Ace is a little over 2 years old, weighs around 40 pounds, and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Molly was pulled from our high kill shelter. She is a sweet girl who loves water!! Molly is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to go for car rides and doesn't pull on leash. She would do best as an only dog. Molly would love a couch to curl up on and a friend who will give her belly rubs. Shes an excellent bird watcher!!

Hi! I've been taking care of Marlow for the past 3 weeks or so, since her owner was arrested. She's had a good life so far and no trauma. She's a happy girl.Her owner was my neighbor, and so she has been left in my care. He wants me to find a home for her. I don't make enough money to have a pet of my own right now, so I cannot keep her. Marlow is such an awesome dog. She is young - under two years, I believe - I know she's had a period or two (but has never been *active*, I.e. no litters, etc.- she still needs to be fixed). She's intelligent, loyal and friendly, but not OVERLY so to strangers like some dogs are -you have to earn her affection a photo o it bit, which I like.She is polite to all humans. Needs to be trained but she is housebroken, and a quick learner. .SHE RARELY BARKS!! Only when she feels it necessary.She does NOT do well with cats.Please be in touch!!

She is a sturdy little pup and is expected to grow into an extra-large adult dog. Chunk has a white coat with charming brown speckles that resemble freckles, along with some black markings on her back and face.  She also has brown ears and on her face. She is playful, affectionate, and highly motivated by treats. Chunk would thrive in a home with other dogs and children.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
