Story
Nucka (A141295) is a 9-year-old Boxer mix who weighed 42.6 pounds on intake! 03/04/26 This shy but sweet girl is Nucka! Nucka was surrendered to the shelter with a group of smaller dogs, but other than that, we do not know much about her past. While at the shelter, she has done a good job at keeping her kennel accident-free, indicating that she might be housebroken. However, it is important to remember that there is always an adjustment period as dogs adjust to their new home and schedules. Even though Nucka has reached her senior years, she still has a lot of life to live! She still enjoys getting outside for walks but also enjoys a nice blanky to curl up on. Courtesy of the shelter fund, Nucka was sent out for a dental cleaning and is in tip-top shape! If you are interested in meeting Nucka, please let us know! March 10, 2026, 4:01 pm

Story
Savanna (A141444) is a 5-month-old Pitbull x GSD x Healer mix who weighed 37.9 pounds on intake! 03/11/26 This adorable little friend is Savanna! Savanna was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for her new family to grow old with! She is a super smart pup who is eager to learn and treat-motivated! Her surrendering owner noted that she is already kennel-trained and knows the command `sit!` She is still working on potty training, but with some consistency, she is sure she can master it in no time! Puppies are a lot of work and a big responsibility but worth the reward. Savanna does not have experience with children but was said to do well with strangers, adults, and even other animals. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions to help set her up for success. In typical puppy fashion, Savanna is teething and it is important that she is provided with appropriate chews so she does not chew on you! If you are interested in this fun bundle of energy, please let us know! March 12, 2026, 4:54 pm
