Aquila is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as she is not available to meet on site.Age: 6 yearsWeight: 31.1 kgA bit about Aquila:- limited history with children; all interactions should be supervised- unknown history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised- has lived with dogs before; dogs okay pending successful introductionMeet Aquila! She says it`s good to see ya! This sweet middle aged pittie lady is seeking a family that enjoys the same things as her - relaxed walks, snuggles on the couch, snoozing in the sun, and food! As you might be able to tell from her picture, Miss Aquila is a bit of a foodie who unfortunately needs to lose some weight. Not only does she is enjoy her kibble, but she`s also happy to try fruits and veggies as a snack. Aquila is very shy with new people, but she has lived with children before and will probably do well in any home that can give her some space until she trusts you and wants to go in for all the cuddles. Aquila is currently hanging out in shelter waiting for her people, but she has spent time in foster where she was described as intelligent (she`ll do anything for kibble), perfectly house trained, and very sweet. She does have arthritis, and can be uncomfortable with her paws being touched because of that, but she is otherwise a healthy middle aged lady ready to find her people!

Age: 3 yearsWeight: 39 kgA bit about Nilah:- has lived with children; all interactions should be supervised- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised introductions required- only dog in home (required)- history of resource guardingNilah loves to meet new people! She`ll start wiggling and squealing and tugging to go say hi! It`ll be a great day if you stop and give her some pets! Although Nilah loves attention, she becomes nervous with restraint or forceful handling! Her perfect family will be patient, and prepared to help her work on the skills she needs to get more comfortable with vet visits and grooming. Nilah has lived with kids, and may do well with your resident little ones, but she`d like to be the only dog in your home as she`s not a fan of other pups! If you love pitties then you`ll love this sweet face! Visit her today!

Story
Age: 4 yearsA little bit about Opie: - kids unknown, older recommended due to jumping and mouthing - cats / small animals unknown - no dogs in home requiredHere to show you that pitties have big noggins (and bigger hearts), it`s Opie! Although he can be a bit nervous with fast movements, loud noises, and when meeting new people, once you`ve earned his trust you`ll be met with lots of cuddles, playtime, and the most adorable puppy dog eyes!Since Opie can get quite excited for things like walks, he`ll need a patient family that can help him learn some better doggy manners and how better to redirect all of his energy! Luckily, Opie is very good when it comes to being able to play independently or with his people, especially when a ball is involved; just be ready for the fact that he`d rather chase and play ball by himself. He loves it so much, he struggles to come back in from the yard because ball is life!Due to his history of not getting along with the other dog in his previous home, it is required that Opie be the only dog in the home. He`ll be sure to make up for it with all of the puppy kisses, wiggle butt, and fun you would ever need! So come say hello to Opie today if you`re missing a four-legged friend in your home!
