Story
Meet this gal who`s ready to steal your heart-one treat at a time! She already knows her basics like sit, down, and paw, and she takes treats gently like a true lady. She`s looking for a calm, adult only home where she can settle in, build confidence, and enjoy structured routines. This sensitive soul does best with thoughtful dog introductions, daily leash walks, and a securely fenced yard to call her own. She`s a foodie at heart and would love an adopter excited to make mealtimes fun with interactive toys, hand feeding, and training games. With some continued guidance through a manners or behaviour class, she`s sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion who`s all about bonding and one on one time.

Story
This 14-week-old male pit bull mix puppy is a bright, active youngster who is just beginning his learning journey. He is currently learning “sit,” takes treats gently, and will thrive with an experienced, breed-knowledgeable dog owner. He is looking for an adult-only home with a secure, fenced backyard and a commitment to daily leash walks and continued confidence-building. A home without children or small animals is required, along with an adopter who is comfortable implementing a structured food program that includes interactive feeders, hand-feeding, and trade-ups. He is displaying common puppy behaviours of jumping up, chewing, and mouthing. Adoptors need to have realistic expectations with puppy behaviours. Off-leash parks are not appropriate at this time due to his age and developing recall. A basic manners class and/or private behaviour training is required to help him build strong foundations and set him up for long-term success in an active, structured home.Size: puppy with potential to be a large breed dog 11kg/24lbsChildren: Adult only home pleaseCats: Not tested with cats, slow introductions recommended, no small animals in the home pleaseDogs: slow and one-on-one socialization recommended for a puppy to help learn appropriate skills and confidence. Puppy needs to be meeting adult dogs right now to help his social skills.

Story
*Buddy is on a sleepover!*Buddy is a handsome boy with a big heart and a love for relaxing by your side. Although his pre-shelter history is mainly unknown, he’s shown just how resilient he is and continues to charm everyone with his sweet nature. We have found him to be a wonderful companion; affectionate while still enjoying his independence. He’s happy to lounge peacefully on the couch and even shows excellent house manners. Buddy is also a smart boy who is well on his way to knowing several commands and even how to catch a tossed treat.Buddy thrives when given clear guidance and positive reinforcement training, and potential adopters should be committed to continuing force-free, science-based, reward-based training to help him succeed. Buddy would do best with adopters who are willing to learn about his needs, respect his boundaries, and continue building his skills in a positive way.Buddy’s past experiences are not fully known, including his history with other animals or children. As with all dogs, behaviour can change and develop over time, and continued support, patience, and thoughtful introductions will help Buddy feel safe and confident in his new home. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, clever companion who is just as happy playing with his Kong and learning new tricks as he is relaxing on the couch with you.Buddy has:- unknown history with kids- unknown history with cats- unknown history with dogs
