Story
Teega is a female Boxer/Pit Bull mix who is approximately 1-2 years old. At 50 lbs, she is a medium-sized companion. Teega came to us after being found wandering the streets, so we do not have much information about her past. While in our care, she has been an absolute gem. Teega is people-friendly, affectionate, dog-friendly, and an all-around good girl. She loves attention from her people and enjoys both playtime and cuddles. Training & Behaviour: Teega has shown some signs of very mild separation-related distress when left alone for extended periods in the dog yard- she whines a bit and digs holes in the dirt. Prey drive toward crows and other small critters she has encountered at the shelter Her key areas to work on are: Continuing basic manners and obedience training Practicing independence in a gradual, positive way Overall, Teega has proven to be a well-rounded dog with minimal behavioural concerns noted. She is quiet and content in her kennel and has been a pleasure for staff and volunteers to care for. Ideal Home: Teega would do best in a home that provides plenty of love, companionship, and some fun daily activity Children: 10+ Dogs: Good with well-matched dogs Cats: Unknown; caution advised due to her prey drive toward birds and other small animals Final Notes: Loves people, pets, affection, and playtime Enjoys spending time with her human companions and forming strong bonds A sweet, social young dog with lots to offer her new family If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who is ready to be your new best friend, Teega may be the perfect match for you! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ready to Apply?
