Story
Meet Hercules! If the shelter had a class clown, it would definitely be Hercules! This playful and lovable guy keeps everyone laughing with his hilarious antics. Although he's grown, Hercules still thinks he's a tiny puppy and will happily try to sit on your lap for cuddles. His playful side is on full display when it comes to toys. He's totally crazy about them, especially when he's playing tug of war or fetch with his human friends. He also loves playing with other dogs and gets along great with his furry friends!Hercules has been through a bit of a rough patch recently, but he's on the road to healing. Because of his past, he can be a bit anxious and will need a patient and understanding person to help him feel safe. He's already making great progress and knows basic commands, but he's a wiggly and excitable pit bull who sometimes needs a gentle reminder to mind his manners.Hercules also loves spending time with the staff, especially at lunchtime! His absolute favorite thing is to curl up on someone's lap in the staff room and fall asleep, soaking up all the attention and affection. He thrives in a nurturing and loving environment where he can continue to grow into the sweet and goofy dog he's meant to be.Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Hercules' person?
