Story
Meet Hercules! If the shelter had a class clown, it would definitely be Hercules! He's always keeping the staff and volunteers laughing with his hilarious antics. This little bundle of energy still thinks he's a tiny puppy, and he'll show you by trying to sit on your lap for cuddles. Hercules is also crazy about toys and loves nothing more than playing tug-of-war or fetch with his human friends.Hercules has been through a bit of a rough patch recently, and we're helping him heal from some trauma he's witnessed. Because of his past, he can be a bit anxious and will need someone to show him that the world is a safe place. He knows basic commands, but he's a wiggly, excited pit bull who sometimes just needs a kind reminder to use his manners. Hercules will do best with someone who has patience and experience with training, and who can help him continue to grow into the sweet, loving dog he truly is.***Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Hercules' person? Apply today!TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.
