The owner states, “Jack is the sweetest dog who loves people, babies, little kids, and other animals. He is very affectionate and loves playing with his family. He has never bitten anyone or shown any sort of aggression. He has lived with our family for the last 5 1/2 years and we have 3 kids: 12, 8, and almost 2. He is so gentle and patient with kids and other pets no matter the size. Unfortunately we are looking to rehome him mostly for his own sake. He is used to getting walks everyday and because of a job change a few months ago, he has had to be in his kennel for 8-10 hours a day during the week. Our yard is also not very big and its all concrete, so the outside time he does have when we get home doesnt seem to be enough for him. We want him to be able to have a large yard with grass even if he does have to be crated. He is fully crate trained.Due to the pet not being in our care, it is out of our control when and if the owner responds to your inquiry. Thank you.

M - 3 years old - Pit Bull Mix - Odie is a big dopey boy who loves to play with his favorite cat-shaped stuffy! He's a very happy boy with lots of energy. He is going to need some obedience training in order to reduce his tendency to jump up on you and chomp on his leash. Because of this, he is not suitable for households with young kids or the elderly. But is taking well to training, and continued training will be beneficial to help with some of his anxiety and boredom. He has done well with other dogs, and he has been in playgroups. Initially he was a rough and rowdy playstyle, but is now learning to take some breaks and be satisfied with laying in the grass together with the occasional rolling around in the grass pawing each other. But when he's overstimulated by other dogs and lots of people, he needs some quiet time to recharge. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. But underneath all of that excitement, he actually can be a really big cuddle bug, who loves to chew on his stuffed toys on his giant bed. He boasts high intelligence, and he's probably too smart for his own good! Much like a shortstop in baseball, this boy is strong, quick, tough under pressure, sharp witted, and will be the most dependable pal for his new family. This outgoing and energetic boy is so much fun, but he could use some more training and socialization with other dogs.
