Story
Say hello to Daphane, a 14-week-old puppy who’s equal parts adorable and full of life! 🐶💞 With her expressive eyes and floppy ears, Daphane has a curious, bright spirit that shines through in everything she does. She looks like she might be a Boxer/Beagle mix, but since breed is always a guess based on looks, we can't say for sure — what we can say is that she’s 100% sweetheart! Daphane is a playful little explorer who’s always ready to make new friends and dive into the next adventure. She’s got a joyful, friendly nature that makes it easy to fall in love with her — whether she’s bouncing after a toy or crawling into your lap for snuggles. This girl brings sunshine wherever she goes and would thrive in a home ready to guide her with love and patience as she grows. ☀️🐾 Daphane has been microchipped, is current on her age-appropriate vaccines, and will be spayed before she heads home. She’s ready to find her perfect match — a family who’s looking for a loyal, loving pup to grow up with. Could that be you? 🏡💖

Story
Meet Honey, a one-year-old bundle of love who weighs in at a perfect 45 lbs! 🍯 With her soulful eyes and gentle heart, this darling girl is everything her name suggests—sweet, warm, and comforting. Honey looks like a Boxer/Pitbull mix to us, but that’s just our best guess based on her adorable features. Whatever her lineage, one thing is certain: she’s 100% a sweetheart! Honey thrives in the company of those who make her feel safe and loved, whether they’re humans or fellow pups. She has a soft, trusting nature and blossoms when surrounded by kindness. While she may take a moment to warm up, once she knows you're in her circle, she’s loyal, affectionate, and oh-so-cuddly. She’s a great friend to other dogs, especially gentle, respectful ones who help her feel secure and confident. 🐾 At just a year old, Honey is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines—ready to start her next chapter with someone who will adore her for the gem she is. Her sweet spirit and quiet resilience make her an incredibly special companion. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted girl to love, Honey is ready to melt your heart. 💕

Story
Very friendly and well behaved male approximately 3 years old. Was found wandering a large property for a few days before rescuing. Very calm and happy. Date to get neutered is 12/12/25, parvo vaccine given. Probably needs updated Rabies vaccine. Not jumpy, knows how to sit. Barked the first day when kenneled but responded very quickly to a bark collar on the beep/buzz setting now using no collar and only mild whimpering when he sees me. Happily wags his tail when pet while eating. Doesn't mind me touching or grabbing his legs. Smiles when happy. Very sweet boy would love a good home. Fee optional if to good home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sami: The Toy-Loving, Ball-Chasing Superstar! According to her foster mom, Sami isn’t just a good girl—she’s the best pup she’s ever had! This sweet, smart cookie is nearly potty trained, knows how to sit like a champ, and plays fetch like a pro (yes, she actually brings the ball back!). Sami’s social skills are top-notch: she gets along great with other dogs and gives cats a polite “meh.” Her true passion? TOYS. Plushies, squeakers, tennis balls—you name it, she’s obsessed. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your socks), Sami’s your girl. Due to the high demand for puppies we anticipate multiple applications for each pup. Our volunteers will review each submitted application, then contact the top 3 most appropriate ones by either email or phone. Calling or emailing us to see if you are being considered will not expedite the process. If you have been selected for an interview we will contact you within 48 hours of submission. Thanks for your patience.  You will be required to complete your puppies vaccine series . If you are interested in adopting one of our puppies you will need to complete our online application at www.cvrr.us    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 21, 2025, 11:30 am

Story
For those of you who don’t remember Syd, she is the pit mix puppy who was attacked by another dog, spent time at @kingsburgvet and surrendered to PC. Syd has had a long recovery time, besides the initial injuries from the attack she had difficulty breathing. Our wonderful vet partner @kingsburgvet did various testing, x-rays, bloodwork, & cultures. While they were able to eliminate some disease concerns, we never were able to pin down the exact issue. Syd has a crazy overbite and still snorts when she breathes so it may be possible that her anatomy also contributed to some of her early breathing issues. The vet along with her foster mom provided Syd with supportive care to help get her thru the worst of her issues. It was touch and go for awhile and not being able to figure out a definitive answer was frustrating for everyone but we are just glad that she is doing better now and growing into such a good girl. Syd has been raised in a home with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and gets along with everyone. She is crate trained, housebroken, very treat motivated and is lower to medium energy level. She has completed her puppy vaccine series, microchipped, flea tick treated, dewormed, received her rabies vaccine and spayed. If you would like to be considered for the adoption of a dog or puppy, please follow the steps below and submit an application through our independent process (Petfinder “matchmaking” emails are not part of our process and we are unable to respond to them). If you have questions you must reach out to us as we do not have the capacity to individually contact all applicants. You may call 559-393-1946 between 6PM and 9PM if you have additional questions AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. We hold adoption events at Petsmart San Jose every Saturday starting at 11am, and most of our adoptable dogs can be met by appointment at these events. Copy and paste the link below to submit a pre-screen application for the dog of interest, or find the link on our website www.pawsitiveconnections.org. Due to the overwhelming amount of interest our dogs receive, we unfortunately will not be able to reach out to all applicants who apply. If you do not receive correspondence from us, it is likely a reflection of the amount of applications we received. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGSOxbGTIIintrGXUi8H-ddLv41aA0XUbELmNi0YhUIWQHRA/viewform /Adoption fee will include spayneuter, microchip, rabies vaccine (dependent on age), bordatella vaccine, parvodistemper vaccine (1-4 depending on age of dog), dewormer (2-4), monthly nexgard for flea and tick treatment./November 4, 2024, 3:45 pm
