I'm a very sweet boy roughly 3 to 4 years old. I was found wandering an empty field when I was rescued by a wonderful family who is looking for my fur-ever home. I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchiped. I love snuggles and spinning circles when I get really excited. Oh and I give the most gentle little kisses. I love pets more than I love food so don't be afraid to pet me while I'm eating, I fully welcome it! I had a rough past and have small fear of the water hose but am getting better about it. I don't bark often but when I do I'm a little squeeky and silly sounding. I don't jump often ether unless I'm invited up. If I must ride in a car I refer the front seat please, I feel safer next to you. Although I have a few scars from my past my fur is very soft and my teeth are in good condition. My current family is helping me through some skin condition that I arrived with but it is on the mend and doesn't bother me in the least. I'm a god boy and would love my fur ever home.

The owner states, “ Sweet boxer puppy he is very loving and snuggly. Loves toys and chewing ropes. In need of immediate home. Lucky was a stray originally. We neutered him got shots started and he is chipped. Lucky is good with other small dogs and would do well by himself. My husband had bad allergies and I can’t have Lucky in our home any longer.” Due to the pet not being in our care, it is out of our control when and if the owner responds to your inquiry. Thank you.

This sweet, smart cookie is nearly potty trained, knows how to sit like a champ, and plays fetch like a pro (yes, she actually brings the ball back!). Sami’s social skills are top-notch: she gets along great with other dogs and gives cats a polite “meh.” Her true passion? TOYS. Plushies, squeakers, tennis balls—you name it, she’s obsessed. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your socks), Sami’s your girl. Due to the high demand for puppies we anticipate multiple applications for each pup. Our volunteers will review each submitted application, then contact the top 3 most appropriate ones by either email or phone. Calling or emailing us to see if you are being considered will not expedite the process. If you have been selected for an interview we will contact you within 48 hours of submission. Meet Matlin! This funny guy is about 53 pounds and has a medium energy. He was originally found by a good Samaritan wandering around by a school. He is housetrained and crate trained and is pretty good at entertaining himself. He loves balls and toys and will flop them around playing with himself. He does well with male and female dogs, with proper introductions (he just needs to get a little excitement out on a walk first) and enjoys playing and then hanging out with other dogs. He lived off and on with a cat and did okay. He was curious, and would chase some if they ran, but otherwise lived peacefully with them. So he may be suited for a home with cats, but we always recommend slow introductions to cats in a new home. He has done well with older kids, but very small children are unknown. This boy is very sweet and funny. Come meet this boy at our shelter!

Meet Shadow! Shadow is about 5-6 years old, 40 pounds, and has a medium active energy. She lives for the thrill of the chase! Squirrels and cats are her favorites, so we are looking for a home with no smaller animals for her. But she does fantastic with dogs her size or larger, both male and female. She loves all people and has done well around kids. She is a little excitable, so slightly older children are recommended. She is an athletic little girl and can clear a 6-foot fence fairly easily. So, supervision and a nice tall fence are recommended for her. She is a great size for apartment living as well. She has a good mix of energy and can be your active, on the go companion, and your little cuddle bug. And she loves to be held like a baby. She is house-trained and will let you know when she wants to go out. She was reported to have some separation anxiety in her previous home, so somebody that is home more often, or willing to potentially put in the work to try and improve it may work best. But she may have a different reaction in a different home as well. Overall, she is the happiest, sweetest, silliest little girl that just needs somebody to give her a chance to get back into a home! Meet Bixby! This handsome, young guy is a total catch of a dog. Bixby is great with other dogs. He loves to run and play. No Cats please. Bixby has spent most of his life in the shelter and needs a low traffic home that will allow him the time and space needed to fully decompress and get comfortable where he is at. He bonds quickly with his people but can be overwhelmed with too many visitors and new experiences in the home too soon. A family with teenagers and up is preferable. He loves to run, play, and swim and be out and about. He has done well at events and lunch dates and minds his manners out in public. He knows some obedience like sit, shake, and down, did well in a crate at night and figured out the doggy door quickly. He is a very intelligent boy that picks up new commands and ideas very quickly, and he just needs that right home to put just a little effort into him.
