Maki is 2 years old. I recently moved and I’m not allowed to keep her unfortunately. Maki is a very loving dog and is very loyal. She loves kids and plays nicely with them. She gets very excited and just wants to run around. She is trained to go potty on puppy pads. She does become vocal if she gets left alone, I think she may have some type of anxiety but I’m not sure. I’m not asking for a fee, I just want to be sure I’m giving Maki to a loving home where she can have the life she deserves.

Hi, I'm Lucy! If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day, I might just be your girl. I'm a happy, energetic Boxer who loves toys, playtime, and being around my people. One of my favorite things to do is back up and give you my butt when I want pets, it always seems to get a laugh! My story didn't start out so happy. I was found wandering alone at a park in Mecca. I was extremely thin, had recently had puppies, and it was clear I had been through a lot. The people who found me believe I was likely used for breeding and then abandoned when I was no longer needed. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan took me in and kept me safe until Desert Paws Sanctuary had room for me. During that time, I lived with a French Bulldog and did great. I can socialize with smaller dogs, though I do best with proper introductions and a little time to get comfortable. Today, my difficult past is behind me. I've gained weight, discovered how much fun toys can be, and learned that people can be kind. I have so much love, personality, and joy to share with the right family. I deserve a home where I'll never be abandoned again, a home where I can play, be loved, and happily wiggle my way over for pets whenever I want attention. Could that home be yours? Hi, I'm Sandy! I'm a 3-4 year old Boxer/Lab mix, and my life started out rough. I was pregnant and living in the agricultural fields of Thermal with my puppies. Things were hard for us, some of my babies didn't survive, and those that did were tiny and weak. Luckily, a kind woman reached out for help, and Natalie from the rescue came to get us. I was malnourished, had an ear infection, and my puppies were only three and four pounds. We were all very sick, but we were also friendly and ready to trust someone. Thanks to my amazing foster mom, Genny, and her family, I got the love, care, and stability I needed. I was treated for infections and parasites, my puppies were nursed back to health, and now we are all thriving. I'm a sweet, gentle soul who loves people and attention. I enjoy being petted, going on adventures, and I do well with other dogs with slow introductions. I also love kids and would make a wonderful family dog. Now, it's my turn. I'm ready for a forever home where I will finally belong, with a family to love me for the rest of my life. Could that be you? This silly 45-lb goose has been with us since we fostered his litter at 8 weeks old. He's the best boy, a total cuddle monster who loves blankets and thinks he's a lap dog. He fetches like it's his literal job, and LOVES going on car adventures and long walks. What he needs most is to be in a home with activity, with people or other pets to keep him company, hopefully a yard or at least plenty of time outside to sniff and explore. Our home has changed so much since he was a baby, and we know he needs so much more than we're able to give him with our jobs and our otherwise empty nest. Ash's favorites: belly rubs, snuggle time, endless sniffing on long walks, treats shaped like sticks, car rides. Ash doesn't like: being bored and lonely, sweaters, lettuce. If you've got a fun, full house, he will keep it that way with his sweet demeanor and his bursts of energy! Ash is an all around good boy who needs a much more active family to love on him.
