Whether he's pressing his head and body against the fence for some scritches or leaning in for snuggles, this boy thrives on human companionship. He's affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s near his people—especially if there are treats involved! His adorable head tilt and beaming smile will instantly win you over. While Peterbuilt has a calm, relaxed demeanor, he also has a playful side and enjoys mental stimulation. He already knows Sit, Shake, and Wait, and walks well on a leash with occasional reminders. He’s a quick learner and would thrive with continued training and one-on-one time with a confident, experienced handler. One of Peterbuilt’s absolute favorite things? Car rides. He lights up at the chance to hop in and go for a drive—whether it's a quick trip around town or a long road trip, he’s ready to be your co-pilot. If you travel often and are looking for a laid-back, devoted travel buddy, Peterbuilt may be the perfect match. Peterbuilt would do best in an adult-only home where he can enjoy a calm environment without the chaos of children. He is not a dog who enjoys roughhousing or wrestling with his humans—he prefers gentle affection and relaxing cuddle time. A Note on His Health: Peterbuilt was diagnosed with Cutaneous Hemangiosarcomas, a type of skin cancer. While we’re uncertain how the condition may progress, the initial tumors were removed successfully, and we haven’t seen any new growths since—an encouraging sign. He’s currently feeling good, and we’re hopeful he’ll continue to do well. He’s not letting it slow him down, and he still enjoys every day to the fullest.
