Story
Miss Denise is an intelligent, lively, eager girl who's been waiting so long for her forever family. She's a bit of a nervous nellie and didn't have the best start in life. Thanks to the loving care of our staff, she has learned to walk on leash and Sit for treats. Give her a calm, loving home and she'll quickly blossom into a wonderful companion. Denise is a watchful girl who starts out a bit shy, but she loves people once she's gotten to know them. She gets along well with most dogs and might do well in a multi-dog family. Call the Ranch to meet this sweet girl today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       May 4, 2024, 7:42 pm

Story
Ella is an extra-special girl! She is spunky, goofy, determined, and very affectionate. She deserves the very best family in the world. She would make a wonderful velcro dog for someone looking for a 24/7 companion. We don't quite know what the clinical diagnosis would be, but Miss Ella is definitely neuro-diverse. It takes her longer to learn new things than an average dog. Though she's gained some self-confidence here at the Ranch, she's still very uncertain in new situations. She needs an adopter who can give her encouragement and guidance and continue to expand her horizons. In the right home, she'll be a happy, bouncy pup, very eager to explore as well as to enjoy all the comforts of life. Ella has been known to get along with some dogs, but she'll likely do best as the one canine love of your life. She has a high prey drive so we don't recommend her with small animals. She takes time and patience to warm up to new people, so an adult-only household with only a couple family members would be ideal. Are you looking for an extra-special dog to be your one and only? Then call the Ranch to meet Miss Ella today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Fernando is such a good, loving boy! He's a fabulous house dog who absolutely adores his people. Fernando gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction, though he might prefer to have you all to himself. He knows how to walk on leash but he's quite strong, and could use some refreshers on not pulling. He is a Very Good Boy: he's crate-trained, potty-trained, and loves young children. He's also crazy about car rides, camping, swimming, and other outdoor adventures. He's not recommended with cats or other small, chase-able animals. Call the Ranch to meet adorable Fernando today! Story
This lovable young lady has spent all twelve months of her life at Rescue Ranch! Hannah is one of Hope's lovely terrier mix puppies, so she has one of the kindest, most loving mommas who has ever breathed. Hannah has inherited her mother's sweet temperament and loving disposition. This loyal, gentle girl deserves to discover how wonderful life can be outside a shelter. Could you be the one to show her? Read on! Hannah is a great age to join a lucky family. She's already leash-trained, extremely well socialized with other dogs though she does best with male dogs in the long term. It's beautiful to see how responsive she is to her handler. With a little practice she'll learn whatever you ask of her. She's just beginning to mellow out of the rowdy puppy stage, and would thrive in just about any family. She'd love to have another dog or two to play with and we think she'd also do well with children. And she's even a nice medium size for joining in on camping trips, hikes, swims at the lake, or just having fun in the yard. Hannah's handsome brother, Henri, is also still available for adoption. So if those sad puppy eyes melt your heart, or if only two puppies will do, call the Ranch to meet Miss Hannah (and Henri) today! Story
Gino is a bull terrier, fully spirited , goofy and very strong willed. He likes 2 walks a day 45-60 mins, pulls a little on leash, fully trained, knows sit, down, touch and has no recall if he gets his eye on the prize. Gino will do well in a home as the only pet, plenty of love and lots of patience. He will need a fully fenced yard and not be off leash, as for he is dog aggressive. He is quick and likes to escape when given the opportunity. Would love to see him in the right hands that understands the needs of a bull terrier.

Hey there, I'm Kona, a 4-year-old spayed female ready to shower you with affection. At a cozy 61lbs, I'm the perfect size for snuggles and adventures. I've previously lived harmoniously with young children and a baby. While I've had some challenges with other dogs in the past, I'm a gentle spirit who thrives in a loving environment. Walking on a leash is second nature to me, and I'm always excited to pick up new tricks, especially if treats are involved! With a mellow demeanor and a penchant for giving kisses and snuggles to children, I'm eager to become your loyal companion. Just remember, I may need help to relax around other dogs, so an only dog home would be ideal for me. Let's embark on this new journey together! * Fantastic news! Your $150 adoption fee now comes with a complimentary $250 training session with our partners at Freedom K9, ensuring you and your newly adopted dog embark on a journey of success together. Story
Hey there, I'm April! A big ol' sweetheart with a penchant for cuddles and kisses. I was surrendered for reasons beyond my control, but I'm ready to find my forever family! I'm 6 years old and weigh 72lbs, so yeah, I'm a bit of a gentle giant. I've been through some training sessions, and I'm eager to keep learning with the right person. I've got some impressive skills too-I know sit, shake, and stay. Plus, I've mastered the art of ignoring those pesky cats outside. When it comes to activities, I'm pretty versatile. Whether it's a leisurely walk, some agility fun, or a joyride in the car, count me in! I'm just as content hanging out inside the house as I am playing in the backyard. Oh, and did I mention I'm a social butterfly? I get along great with other dogs my size and love a good play session. But too many dogs or too much energy at once might overwhelm me, so a calm environment would be ideal. So, what do you say? Ready to welcome a cuddle buddy into your life? Let's make some memories together! * Fantastic news! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Playful, goofy and friendly 1 year old male pit mix. Meet Simon, a Baja rescue dog with a great story! Simon was rescued after being hit by a car in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He had lost the use of his back legs, but was still smiling his happy smile at everyone he met! Thanks to great vet care, physical therapy and loving fosters, Simon has regained the use of his legs and now runs around happily playing and greeting everyone he meets.  The vet believes the collision caused temporary paralysis which is now resolved. Simon is a big goofball who loves to play, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, loves people and has loads of personality. He will do well in a home that can get him plenty of exercise and playtime.  He is still very much a puppy at heart and still learning his manners, but walks well on leash and has learned to Sit for treats! Simon would do well in an active home where he can get the exercise he needs, probably not with small children or cats, but he gets along well with female dogs. Simon is fully vaccinated, sterilized, healthy and ready to find his forever humans! Simon is currently being fostered in La Paz, BCS, but is available for video meet and greets and can be transported anywhere on the US West Coast or Canada. Be sure to watch the video below of Simon to get a feel for his goofy personality! Samson is a big hunky love bug who just ADORES people! He tends to be a bit more independent but still loves some cuddles from time to time. You can most often find him playing with his toys or sucking on a nice blanket for comfort. He has an odd obsession with shiny food bowls and toys so we recommend not giving him anything shiny or reflective.   Samson does well with most other dogs as long as they can handle him being a little pushy at first. He may do well with a canine companion. If you are interested in meeting this sweet and silly fella, give us a call today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
