Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have done so. Your response serves as your preliminary application. Please provide the requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than "I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her".
Meet Moochi, an approximately 2-year-old Heeler/boxer mix looking for a family who will continue his training to become a good canine citizen. At approximately 45 pounds, he should put a bit of meat on his bones. He was abandoned by an idiot who never came back for him. He loves to play and be with his people. He needs to be engaged and included in family activities, brisk walks, jogging, and car rides. He does well with other dogs, but is protective of his food space; he prefers to dine alone. Sall children seem to make him nervous, so older, respectful children are the order of the day. Crate trained with good potty manners- but do not forget to take him out before bedtime! He loves toys but will take the squeak out of them in a NY minute.
He is scheduled for neutering, but is available to the right family as a foster-to-adopt until he has made his one-time testicle donation.
Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding—Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.
