Story
My ex husband abandoned this dog with me. He bred her excessively and irresponsibly and she is too old to be spayed now, I’m told. My current husband and I are full time travelers living in a small RV; this lifestyle is not good for this dog. She does not enjoy exercising, and she wants constant affection and attention. We just cannot meet this dog’s needs; we are avid hikers and outdoors people and she hates hiking. She is extremely kind and gentle and loves babies/children. We did not want this dog, but thought she’d be fine as a traveler with us and our other dog who loves this lifestyle. However, she is becoming more unhappy with the challenges of constant travel and it’s not fair to her. She requires no work except cleaning her face wrinkles as they can get smelly; she is trained to get baths. She would rather just lay around all day and get petted. She’s got some benign skin tumors that do not need medical treatment. She tries to be an alpha but is terrible at it.

Story
At first glance, Honeybee is a giant soggy baby. Easily excitable, fiercely loyal, and always ready to give kisses. She shows her personality in many different ways. She will ask for snacks, side-eye you when you smell like another dog, lean against you despite her being 60+ Ibs, and unfortunately those puppy-dog eyes still work for her in her adult years. Bee is 5 years old and still acts like she's 2, making questionable choices and smiling about it. And she is so loving. So trusting. Truly a best friend. Not the one that talks you down from making poor choices, but the one that talks you into it and loves you anyway. Bee is a forever puppy. Adulthood doesn't define her, and neither does her incessant need to hug and kiss everyone that comes across her path. She may bark at every passerby, maybe her lips are too droopy and spill water everywhere when she drinks, but that's Honeybee. Full of life, love, and treats. If you'd like to meet Honeybee, reach out to Wyatt by phone at 986-888-4320 or email at w.wyattholmes@gmail.com

Story
Bubba is a purebred Boxer with a brindle coat. He is three years old, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. Bubba has been through a two week formal dog training Boot Camp in 2025. Bubba is friendly and full of energy. Bubba would be best suited in an active household with no children or other pets. Bubba has a lot of energy and needs someone who is willing to exercise him and has a fenced yard where he can safely go outside. Bubba is potty trained, crate trained, and is used to using a doggie door. Bubba needs someone who has the flexibility to spend a lot of time with him. Bubba is loyal, protective, loving, silly and playful. Bubba is not a fan of other dogs, large or small. He requires someone strong to handle/restrain him in a public setting where he might encounter other dogs. Bubba currently lives with a Chihuahua and cat. He is primarily an indoor dog. Bubba loves to go on car rides and is well behaved in the car. He also loves to play fetch and snuggle.

Story
Hi… I’m Duke. I’m about 3 years old, and I’m still figuring this whole “being a dog” thing out. I didn’t always have someone to show me how, so some stuff is new to me—like meeting people, trusting right away, and knowing I’m safe and feel free to eat the food i need to stay healthy Because of that, I can be a little shy and nervous when I first meet you. I might hang back at first… just watching, making sure everything’s okay. The people here say I’m learning more every day. and on the road to a good weight recovery I’m learning that gentle voices are good, that hands can mean pets, and that I don’t have to be so worried all the time. What I really need is a home that will keep teaching me—someone who understands that I’m not “perfect” yet, but I’m trying really hard. I think I’d do best with someone who can spend lots of time with me, helping me build confidence and showing me how to be the best boy I know I can be. I promise I’ll give you my whole heart in return. Love, Duke 🐾
