Story
Meet our beautiful boxer mix mama Onyx 💕 She did the hardest job first — raising her puppies in foster care — and now it’s finally her turn. This sweet girl has been devoted, gentle, and patient while her babies grew big and strong. With her mom duties behind her, she’s ready to trade midnight feedings for couch cuddles and backyard zoomies. She’s looking for a forever home where she can be someone’s baby now. A soft bed, steady love, and a family who sees her not just as “the mama,” but as the loyal, loving companion she truly is. After giving so much, she deserves a lifetime of being cherished. Ready to make her next chapter the best one yet? Apply at www.fosterpetoutreach.org

Story
Charlotte Opal is an 11-week-old Boxer sweetheart with a heart as big as her paws. She’s gentle, affectionate, and about as sweet as they come—no spice unless she needs to lovingly remind her brothers who’s boss. This little lady prefers to cuddle in close (she gets chilly and shivers) and will happily soak up all the love you can give. Bath time? Not her favorite. Ice cubes to crunch on? Absolute favorite. Charlotte Opal is looking for a family ready to give her the time, patience, and training that every puppy needs. In return, she’ll give you endless cuddles, soft kisses, and a loyal companion for life. If you’re searching for a sweet girl to complete your family, Charlotte Opal just might be the one. 🐾 Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Puppies up to 6 months of age are $400 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more. To adopt, go to www.fosterpetoutreach.org to complete an application. Please note: Foster Pet Outreach tries to limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois.

Story
Meet Charlie 🤍 Charlie is a sweet, enthusiastic Boxer pup who shows his love with his whole heart—even if it sometimes comes with a few playful nibbles. He’s learning and improving every day; Charlie just loves very hard. This handsome boy has a touch of white on his nose, making him the twin of one of his sisters and giving him his own special charm. When Charlie is happy, you’ll know it—his affection is big, bold, and full of puppy joy. And if you ever need his attention? Just push the “ice” button. Charlie will appear faster than you can say his name, ready to chomp and wag his way into your heart. Charlie is looking for a family who understands puppy energy, patience, and training—and who’s ready to be loved enthusiastically in return. 🐾 Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Story
Last, but most certainly not least, Clara Bow was the final pup to join the world—and she made us wait. She just needed a little extra time cooking to make sure she was truly the best of the best. A twin to Charlie with her own special twist, Clara Bow sports adorable white socks that set her apart. While she may look like her brother, her personality couldn’t be more different. Clara is gentle, happy, and overflowing with love. She adores cuddling up close with her humans and soaking in every bit of affection she can get. Like the rest of her siblings, a little ice tossed on the floor can convince her to do just about anything—except take a bath, of course. Some things are non-negotiable. Clara Bow is looking for a family ready to cherish her sweet nature, continue her training, and welcome a loving, cuddly companion into their home. 🐾. Apply at www.fosterpetoutreach.org

Story
Meet Alf! This 9-month-old Boxer mix is named after the lovable TV alien, but these days he’s much less “lost in space” and much more “life of the party.” Currently weighing around 46 pounds, Alf is growing into a happy, confident, and incredibly lovable companion. When Alf first arrived at a local animal shelter, the world felt overwhelming and he wasn’t quite sure how to navigate it. Fast forward to foster life, and this boy has blossomed in the best way. With patience, love, and a cozy home to learn in, Alf has discovered that life is actually pretty great, and he’s embracing it with full-body tail wags and a joyful spirit. Alf is almost fully house trained and does well in his crate, settling in nicely after a brief protest. He sleeps comfortably crated in another room and has proven to be a great mix of playful and relaxed. He enjoys everything from zooming around the yard and playing with toys to lounging in the house and soaking up attention from his people. This social butterfly truly doesn’t know a stranger. Alf is friendly with men, women, children, and dogs of all sizes, and he’s even good with cats. He’s been around kids as young as 3 years old and does wonderfully, though like many young pups, he can get a little excited and is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor when saying hello. Alf loves playing with his dog friends, whether it’s a game of chase or a snuggle break after. He’s respectful of dogs who prefer a calmer vibe and adjusts his play style accordingly. He also enjoys walks and does well on leash, though he may pause mid-walk in hopes of making a new friend because in Alf’s world, everyone is a potential best buddy. At the end of the day, Alf is the definition of a “happy dog.” He’ll greet you with his whole body wagging, follow you around like your biggest fan, and happily curl up on the couch for some quality cuddle time. Alf would do well in just about any home ready for a fun, affectionate, and social young dog. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love to his forever family. His adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
