Story
Meet Bathsheba!Boxer mix. 64 lbs Sweet & Shy LadyBathsheba is a gentle, soulful boxer who`s been thriving in her foster home since January 2024. She`s fully grown and has the mellow, loving temperament that only comes with age and wisdom—but don`t let the number fool you! With her bright eyes and playful tail wags, she doesn`t look (or act) a day over 5.Though shy at first, Bathsheba quickly warms up to patient people. Once you`ve earned her trust, she`ll seek out your affection and greet you with a happy tail wag every time she sees or hears you. She`s sensitive to loud noises, but bounces back quickly with reassurance.Bathsheba walks beautifully on a leash and gets excited when it`s time for a stroll. She`s crate trained, house-savvy, and has shown she can roam the house without causing a bit of trouble.Bathsheba would do best in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and continue to blossom. A secure, physical fenced yard is required to help her feel comfortable and protected as she settles into her new environment. If you`re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Bathsheba might just be your perfect match.

Story
Hi there, I’m Samuel, but my friends call me Sammy.I’m a 10-year-old boxer mix, tipping the scales at a solid 90 pounds. I may be a senior, but don’t let that fool you, I’ve still got plenty of charm... especially when it comes to the ladies. What can I say? I’m a ladies’ man through and through. I feel most at ease around them and tend to be a bit shy with the fellas. My vibe? Total couch potato. I do walk like a gentleman on a leash, but I’m happiest when I’m lounging in the sun, rolling in the grass on a cool day or sniffing all the good smells in the yard. Belly rubs? Yes, please. That’s my love language.I’m a bit picky with my dog friends, so it`s important that I meet any potential furry siblings ahead of time. I get along best with lady dogs. A meet-and-greet with all residents (furry and human) will be required before going to my forever home. I do need a physical fenced yard to feel safe and secure while I explore and sunbathe. I’m looking for a quiet, slow-paced home where I can just relax, enjoy my retirement and be the king of my castle, and for me that means no kids.New people can be scary, so I will need to have slow introductions and multiple meetings, but once I trust you, I`ll be begging for snuggles and belly rubs. My foster mom is helping me build my confidence, and I’m making progress every day.If you would like to be the one to share hugs with me, please fill out an application on our website. Some information may change overtime as my foster mom learns more information about me!

Story
Meet Fidgy!Fidgy is a 2-year-old, medium sized, boxer mix that came to AHeinz57 as a stray who had not been claimed. Since then, we have learned lots about her and her personality!Fidgy`s personality includes communicating like a dolphin, having the energy like a toddler on espresso, and the misunderstood love language of a velociraptor. If Fidgy loves you, she will attempt to nibble your limbs with the enthusiasm of someone trying to taste-test friendship. And her affection style? Bold, unapologetic, and slightly mouthy playstyle with a little sprinkle of bouncy. But here’s the twist, if you are to sit down and just be with her, Fidgy transforms. The jumping stops. The squeaking softens. She’ll curl up beside you, let you pet her, and gaze at you like you’re the only human in the world. She may question if you might still taste good, but she’ll hold back. She loves to meet new people, and with treats involved, she learns to become fast friends! Due to her mouthiness, young children may not be the best fit for her and older children may understand that she is just trying to be playful. We are still learning how she would do around other dogs, so if there are others in the home, proper introductions would be needed to make sure that it is the right fit. As for cats, a home without would be best, as she thinks they are just fun, interactive, squeaky toys. We do recommend a fence for her while she is learning to be around other dogs, but it is not required. With her being pretty vocal, she would do best without shared wallsIf you would like to still meet with her despite her quirks, please fill out an application online or ask to come visit her in one of our playrooms. Some information may change as we get to know her better.

Story
Meg is a sweet 48 pound, 9-year-old Valley Bulldog who loves going on walks, playing at daycare and the dog park, going for car rides, shopping in all kinds of stores and snuggling with you. She needs a constant companion because being left alone makes her anxious. Meg is microchipped, crate trained and knows basic commands such as sit, wait, right, left, and go potty. She's a compact, healthy and energetic girl who loves people and gets along great with most other dogs, although kids and cats are unknowns. Meg is very food-motivated, but the vet says it's important that she stays on a hydrolyzed protein diet (available online & at pet stores) to keep her from getting itchy. Her adoption fee is $0 to help her get to the right home.

Story
Jet’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being adopted, this sweet boy was sadly dumped by his previous adopters and has since found his way back to us. Despite everything he’s been through, Jet’s gentle spirit still shines through. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll be greeted with his handsome smile that could light up any room! Jet is very sweet guy who loves affection—he’ll never turn down pets, cuddles, or a nice walk. His favorite cuddle position is upside down in your lap! He’s kennel trained, fully potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. Jet is looking for a loving, committed family who will give him the security he deserves and never give up on him again. Could that be you?

Story
Crash is a Brindle Boxer/Bull Dog. He is very active he likes to be outside running around. Our yard is too small for him. We have little or no time to fully train him however he is very smart. He's always happy. He did have "happy tail" when we got him because he was not cropped. But we didn't want to do that to him. He has never bitten anyone and has never shown aggression towards anybody. Unfortunately we just don't have the time to train him completely and also our house and yard are just way too small for him. He loves to go on walks but not completely done with training on that. He has a lot of humerous chacter, he loves to sit up in the front seat of the car and go for rides. Just mention, go for a ride", and he's right there. People get a kick out of that He is a very affectionate dog, still some puppy in him. I would love to see him go to a loving and caring home he deserves.
