Story
Meet Baxter! He is a sweet little love who is only a few months old who would love a forever home! Baxter is a confident pup that has no issues playing with the big dogs (and he keeps up quite well I might add). He loves other dogs and all people. He has not been around children, but would most likely love them just as much as adults, but would need to learn some manners around the little ones as he is a teething puppy. Baxter is currently working on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As a puppy, he very much wants to be wherever his people are and not lose sight of them. Baxter would do best in a patient home where he will receive the training he needs to become the best big dog there is! His likes include lots of chew toys and squeaky toys, other dogs to play with, and people who love to snuggle. His dislikes include not being able to pick up anything and everything off of the ground outside, being on a leash, and not being able to play all day long.

Story
Meet Bathsheba!Boxer mix. 64 lbs Sweet & Shy LadyBathsheba is a gentle, soulful boxer who`s been thriving in her foster home since January 2024. She`s fully grown and has the mellow, loving temperament that only comes with age and wisdom.Though shy at first, Bathsheba warms up to very patient people. Once you`ve earned her trust, she`ll seek out your affection and greet you with a happy tail wag every time she sees or hears you. She`s sensitive to loud noises, but bounces back quickly with reassurance. Overall Bathsheba loves and prefers routines.Bathsheba walks beautifully on a leash and gets excited when it`s time for a stroll. She`s crate trained, house-savvy, and has shown she can roam the house without causing a bit of trouble.Bathsheba would do best in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and continue to blossom. A secure, physical fenced yard is required to help her feel comfortable and protected as she settles into her new environment. If you`re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Bathsheba might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Fidgy!Fidgy is a 2-year-old, medium sized, boxer mix that came to AHeinz57 as a stray who had not been claimed. Since then, we have learned lots about her and her personality!Fidgy`s personality includes communicating like a dolphin, having the energy like a toddler on espresso, and the misunderstood love language of a velociraptor. If Fidgy loves you, she will attempt to nibble your limbs with the enthusiasm of someone trying to taste-test friendship. And her affection style? Bold, unapologetic, and slightly mouthy playstyle with a little sprinkle of bouncy. But here’s the twist, if you are to sit down and just be with her, Fidgy transforms. The jumping stops. The squeaking softens. She’ll curl up beside you, let you pet her, and gaze at you like you’re the only human in the world. She may question if you might still taste good, but she’ll hold back. She loves to meet new people, and with treats involved, she learns to become fast friends! Due to her mouthiness, young children may not be the best fit for her and older children may understand that she is just trying to be playful. We are still learning how she would do around other dogs, so if there are others in the home, proper introductions would be needed to make sure that it is the right fit. As for cats, a home without would be best, as she thinks they are just fun, interactive, squeaky toys. We do recommend a fence for her while she is learning to be around other dogs, but it is not required. With her being pretty vocal, she would do best without shared wallsIf you would like to still meet with her despite her quirks, please fill out an application online or ask to come visit her in one of our playrooms. Some information may change as we get to know her better.

Story
Meet our most handsome heartthrob—Romeo! 💙 When he’s not zooming around and soaking up some outdoor fun, you’ll find him right where he belongs…curled up in your lap! Romeo is a total lovebug who adores people—he’s happiest when he’s by your side, holding your hand (yes, really!) and soaking up all the kisses, especially on car rides. He walks nicely on a leash and is learning to politely ignore other dogs like a true gentleman. This squishy, active, oh-so-cute boy has been through a tough past after coming from a neglect situation, but he hasn’t let that dim his shine one bit. Romeo is ready for a fresh start with a family who has plenty of time, love, and snuggles to give—and trust us, he’ll return it tenfold. Come meet your new best friend! 🐾
