Ellie Mae is the sweetest companion. This was NOT an easy decision. We've had her since April of 2020. She is 6 years old, she was born 02/04/2018. 30 pounds.We rescued her when my Husband and I were newlyweds. We just had a baby this past December and the only reason we've finally come to this decision 8 months later is because we tried everything first. Ellie does well with kids that are older but not so much babies. She doesn't understand to be careful around them. She has accidentally stepped on our baby many times and scratched him on accident multiple times pretty badly.. She just gets very excited or when she's anxious she forgets babies are there. Its become a safety concern for our baby. She is such a sweetheart and very loyal. She would prefer to stay inside and cuddle all day. She does have separation anxiety. She will be your shadow following you around the house to make sure you're safe. She is a very picky dog with what other dogs she likes. Its best for it to be just her
