Story
Scooby is a young, energetic, and incredibly sweet boy with a heart as big as his playful spirit. He was found out in the country alongside his brother, Shaggy, and it’s likely the two had been on the run for a while before finding safety. Despite that, Scooby has handled the transition into shelter life like a champ. He’s loving, playful, and adjusts to new people and situations fairly well. Scooby has a slightly more confident personality, which helps him bounce back quickly and approach life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He seems relatively dog-friendly, though dog-to-dog meet-and-greets are always recommended for any pups already in the home. He may even do okay with cats, given proper introductions.Like many young dogs, Scooby could use some polishing on his manners, he’s still working on things like not jumping up, learning how to settle, and mastering potty training. But underneath that puppy energy is a well-rounded, eager boy who truly wants to connect and learn. With structure, consistency, and lots of love, Scooby has so much potential to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate pup ready to start his next chapter, Scooby might just be your guy.Scooby is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, and preventatives. His adoption fee has been generously fully sponsored by his finder! You can get a head start by filling out our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop by to meet Scooby and all of our adoptable pets Tuesday–Saturday from 1pm–4pm. We’d love to help you find your perfect match!

Story
Shaggy is a young sweetheart with a soft spirit and a heart full of love. He was found out in the country alongside his brother, Scooby, and it’s likely the two had been running for quite some time before they were brought to safety. Through it all, Shaggy has remained incredibly gentle and trusting.A submissive little people-pleaser, Shaggy has a softer, more sensitive energy than his brother. He looks to his humans for reassurance and truly wants to do the right thing. He’s extremely sweet, playful, and very malleable — the kind of pup who will blossom beautifully with patient guidance and positive reinforcement.Shaggy enjoys playtime and affection in equal measure. He handles new people and situations fairly well, especially when he has a calm, confident human by his side. He seems relatively dog-friendly, though dog-to-dog meet-and-greets are always recommended for any dogs in the home.Like any young pup, Shaggy will need continued work on general manners, learning to settle, and potty training. But his eager-to-please personality will make training a rewarding experience for the right family.Shaggy is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and heartworm tested (negative). His adoption fee has been generously fully sponsored by his finder! You can apply to adopt Shaggy at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or come by to meet him and our other adoptable pets Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm.If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will grow alongside you and soak up every bit of love you give, Shaggy is ready to start his next chapter.

Story
Malakai is a sweet young pup with a heart just waiting to belong to someone. At first, he can be a little shy, the big world is still new to him, but give him a little patience and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once he warms up, Malakai blossoms into a playful, fun-loving, and incredibly snuggly companion. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side. Loyal to his core, Malakai is a “stick-with-you” pup who will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch, resting his head in your lap, or trotting along on daily adventures, he simply wants to love and be loved. As he grows and gains confidence, Malakai is going to make an amazing lifelong companion. He’s still a puppy, which means he’ll need some guidance, especially with potty training, but with a consistent, structured routine, we think he’ll catch on quickly. He’s eager to please and just needs someone willing to help him learn the ropes. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will grow with you, cuddle with you, and build confidence by your side, Malakai might just be your perfect match.Malakai`s adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, and preventatives. Story
Willie is a sweet, gentle goofball who came to us with Dolly and their five pups after a difficult chapter in their lives. He can be a bit nervous at first, but he warms up quickly and turns into the ultimate lap dog. Willie is heavily bonded with Dolly and absolutely loves running and playing by her side.True to his lovable “dunder” nature, Willie is often spotted licking the glass of his kennel with his nose completely smooshed up against it, earning laughs wherever he goes. Like Dolly, Willie didn’t have much potty training in his previous home, but he’s already learning fast and choosing to potty outside more than inside. We hope to find Willie a home with Dolly, but would consider separating them if needed. Willie is ready for a patient, loving family who will cherish his silly heart and help him continue to grow. Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop by Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm to meet all of our adoptables.

Story
Dolly is a sweet, loving girl who came to us about a week ago alongside Willie and their five pups. While their previous situation was a bit rough, it’s clear Dolly was loved, she just didn’t have much structure or training. Despite that, Dolly has shown herself to be the more confident of the pair and warms up almost immediately. Once she does, she’s a total lap dog who thrives on affection and attention.Dolly loves to run and play, especially with Willie, and the two are very bonded. Although potty training wasn’t a focus in her past, she’s already making great progress and is starting to choose going outside more often than inside. We would love to see Dolly and Willie adopted together, but would consider separating them if absolutely necessary. Dolly is ready for a home that will give her the guidance, love, and stability she’s been missing. Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay/neuter, heartworm testing, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop by Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm to meet all of our adoptables.
