He came to us as an owner surrender, but it’s clear he’s always been loved and socialized — Axel adores everyone he meets. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a true family companion. Axel is potty, crate, and leash trained, and he thrives with free roaming — he’s not destructive at all. He’s amazing in public and adapts beautifully to new situations, making him an all-around perfect companion. He’s vocal and loves to “talk” to you, especially if you’re a woman — he’ll happily become your shadow, following you everywhere with love and loyalty. This sweet guy has so much personality: he gets zoomies in the backyard, howls like a husky, loves car rides, and has a hilarious obsession with salami. My mom got him for me as a gift but I can no longer keep him, he’s a super sweet dog, hes normally pretty quite unless he’s left in a room/cage then he whines somestime but he doesn’t ever bark at people he’s does bark and growl while he’s sleeping which is the cutest thing. he’s a little shy and very dramatic, if you annoy him he’ll let you know it with a long sigh, he just turned 3 in November but he acts like a puppy, He loves cuddling up to you in bed laying right against your back and legs, he may even try scooting you out of your spot but he’s a very good dog. He loves when you remove his collar. He loves long walks and will drag you around until he finds a place to poop, he listens really well and he love car rides. He’s perfect for a companion you want to bring places or just chill out at home with.

Teller is 55 lbs and approximately 3 years old. Teller and his dad, Tate, were abandoned at a property when the property was sold. The new owner found them in a small pen and contacted SPCHS for help. Teller is afraid of cats, and is dog and people friendly. Crate trained. Likes to be near his human. Loves attention and is just trying to learn how to enjoy his life.

He was near the top of of the euthanasia list at the shelter — simply because he’d been there too long, and because he’s a pit bull puppy in an overcrowded system. But when we came to rescue another dog, we couldn’t leave this sweet face behind. Now safe in foster care, Balboa is proving just how much love and life he has to give. At just 6 months old and around 25 pounds, he’s still growing — but already has a huge heart. 🐶 What makes Balboa so awesome? 💫 Happy, playful, and full of joy 🐕 Great with other dogs 🐱 Respectful of cats 🧸 Loves toys, people, and attention 🩺 Vetting scheduled soon — he’ll be fully up to date!
