He came to us as an owner surrender, but it’s clear he’s always been loved and socialized — Axel adores everyone he meets. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a true family companion. Axel is potty, crate, and leash trained, and he thrives with free roaming — he’s not destructive at all. He’s amazing in public and adapts beautifully to new situations, making him an all-around perfect companion. He’s vocal and loves to “talk” to you, especially if you’re a woman — he’ll happily become your shadow, following you everywhere with love and loyalty. This sweet guy has so much personality: he gets zoomies in the backyard, howls like a husky, loves car rides, and has a hilarious obsession with salami. Axel is genuinely one of the most perfect dogs you could hope to meet — affectionate, playful, and endlessly loving. 📍 Located in Richmond, Kentucky 💰 Adoption fee: $250 Axel is fully vetted and ready to find a home where he can be loved and spoiled for the rest of his days. Story
We had her come up to our house one evening with it being cold. We wanted to keep her, went and saw if she was chipped, got her a harness and toy, new kennel. However she couldn’t get along with our other dog due to being too anxious and not calm around her. She wanted to play but couldn’t relax enough to play. She also wants to play with the cats but doesn’t seem to calm herself down enough to play. She isn’t violent or snappy. She is loving and good in cars. She is deaf and has to have eyes on someone or yelps loudly. She needs someone who can dedicate their time to calming her down as well someone who could possibly train her with other pets. She isn’t house broken but is kennel trained. She is leash trained.
