this is milo! he’s about 3 years old and my step dad has had him since he was a puppy. his previous owner had died unexpectedly causing some abandonment problems. he hates being alone but is a huge cuddle bug!! he gets along well with dogs of his size and the more familiar he is the better. he plays a bit rough as his breed mix does and he is very energetic! my mother and step dad do not have time to help him release this energy which is why we are wanting to find him a good home with someone that needs a loyal, fun, wild companion…he knows a few tricks and is decently well behaved…he is a scaredy cat sometimes and is quite protective of his toys and favorite people. he rarely barks unless he wants/needs something. we have an extreme kong toy to take with him as he’s also an aggressive chewer…if you have any questions you can find me on facebook under the name Sadie Clayton…we hope to find him a loving home!!! oh and he likes to sing and hug you like a human!

Story
Winnie is roughly 2-3 years old. She came from KCPetProject around April. She is a little skittish, but also can be all over you. She loves car rides. I absolutely adore her, but one of my other dogs won’t stop trying to fight her. She gets along with dogs, cats, etc. She has not been around kids while I’ve had her. She does struggle with jumping on people.

Stella's Story Gorgeous girl Stella and her sweet sister Ella were relinquished due to their owner having to move where dogs aren't allowed. These beautiful, well mannered 2-year-old shepherd/boxer mix gals have won over the shelter volunteers with their lovely disposition and funny antics. Stella seems to be the more energetic of the two -- she's up for fetching over and over and sifting through every toy bin to make multiple selections, while Ella opts for a bit slower walk and flops out flat on the cool floor. They both love water, but Ella is definitely water crazy and so fun to watch. They are so good together, with no quarreling, only smiles and playfulness as one takes a favorite toy (which is whatever the other one has, ha!) from the other. The adoption fee to adopt a dog is $155, which helps cover some of the care received, including spay/neuter, microchipping and vaccinations to date. Dodger is a very sweet, loving animal. He loves to cuddle and go on long walks, but he is a little shy when it comes to new people/dogs. He is a bit of a chewer, he loves to chew on absolutely anything, and it can become a problem if you aren’t careful. Other than that he is amazing and needs a good home to go to.The adoption fee is negotiable!
