He's a little shy at first — tail tucked, a bit nervous — but once he trusts you, his friendly and playful side shines through! 💙 He’s learning the routine, sits at the gate for walks, and gets excited when he sees the leash. While he might dart out at first, it’s more habit than escape — he always comes back inside. 🐕‍🦺 Raja is still getting used to people in his space and can be a bit head shy, but he's improving every day. He LOVES squeaky toys, plays fetch, and tosses them for himself! 🎾🧸 He's looking for an active, patient family who will go slow, help him build trust, and give him the love (and playtime!) he craves. Still very much a puppy, Raja’s ready to blossom in a home! 🏡💕

They also shared that Oso is prone to chronic ear infections, so his future family should be prepared to monitor his ears and work with their veterinarian to keep him comfortable and healthy. Since arriving at the shelter, staff have observed that Oso has been scared and timid, but despite his uncertainty, he remains incredibly sweet and polite. He is easy to leash, well behaved on walks, and has excellent manners around people. Oso also knows how to sit and shake on command, and he enjoys positive interactions with his handlers. His gentle nature and willingness to please make him a joy to spend time with. Oso would thrive in a patient, loving home that can help him rebuild his confidence and feel secure again. ZELDA IS IN FOSTER CARE IN HESP CALIF AND MUST ME MET AND PICKED UP THERE. We have a GORGEOUS friendly 85 pound XL Bully girl named Zelda looking for a perfect and loving home with a family or person that is familiar with her breed. She is 10 months old, loves and adores people, doesn't like cats and preferably can go to a home with no small pets. We have introduced her to two large male Bullies and she did very well, tail wagging non stop. We found her abandoned in the Desert and she was afraid to come to me. After a week of feeding her we called in our trapper, Mike Ryan to help us rescue her. After setting the trap she was inside it within five minutes...We we opened the door she walked right out wagging her huge tail, wiggling her butt, gave kisses and took treats as gentle as a feather from our hands. She loves people and is a very happy girl...She had no one looking for her and was not microchipped so we can only assume her owner left her instead of taking her to an animal shelter, maybe hoping that someone would help her. Since taking her into our rescue we gave her a DA2PPV shot and one booster, Bordetella and Brochioseptia , Rabies shot , Spayed her and had her microchipped. We hope to find her a home soon so she can find happiness with a family of her own. here is some info on her breed. she is considered a MERLE which is a rare color. Zelda is a friendly and stunning dog. XL Bullies can be excellent companions for experienced families or owners. They are known for their friendly and affectionate nature, making them suitable family dogs when properly trained and socialized. Their loyalty and protective instincts can be beneficial in a family setting, especially with children, provided there is supervision due to their size and strength. Temperament XL Bullies are generally confident and gentle, often misunderstood due to their muscular appearance. They thrive in environments where they receive consistent training and social interaction. Care Requirements Owning an XL Bully requires commitment to training, exercise, and socialization. They benefit from regular physical activity and mental stimulation. Legal Considerations Potential owners should also be aware of local regulations regarding breed ownership, as some areas have restrictions on XL Bullies. ZELDA is ready to be adopted. she is fully vetted and ready to continue her training and socialization . She is strong on leash and is best to work training her while she is still young. She wants to please and gets so excited to be with her human. We took her to our vet twice for shots and spaying and the entire vet office lobby was enthralled with her beauty, appearance and friendly behavior. Everyone wanted to say hi and come over to pet her.. Pumpkin is sweet girl who came to us as a stray and is still learning that she’s safe and cared for 🐾💕. She allowed full handling during her exam and vaccinations, showing a gentle and trusting nature beneath her uncertainty. While she does accept pets and will come around with soft reassurance, she’s having a hard time adjusting to the shelter environment. With time, patience, and the help of volunteers taking her on walks, she’ll begin to understand that everything is okay and start to feel more confident in her surroundings.

Sable is an owner surrender who came to the shelter due to experiencing some anxiety in the home 🐾. While her exact triggers are unknown, she can have difficulty regulating her energy when she becomes excited. Sable is still adjusting to the loud and stressful shelter environment, but once in the yard, she actively seeks her handler for reassurance. As she begins to feel comfortable, her playful side shines through with zoomies and a desire to find something to chew on. Sable is a very young girl with lots of potential, but she will need a home experienced with anxious dogs that can provide structure, enrichment, and training to help redirect her energy and chewing behaviors. Although her previous owner noted concerns about men, she has not shown any aggression toward men here at the shelter. Due to her anxiety, Sable would do best in an adult-only home that can provide patience, consistency, and support as she builds confidence 💕.
