According to his former family, Samson does well with dogs smaller than him and has never been around cats. He’s great with kids and knows some basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake — always happy to show off his manners! Samson absolutely loves going for walks and brings lots of enthusiasm along, so he may pull on the leash a bit from excitement, but that just means he’s ready for an active buddy to help him polish his leash skills. Shelter staff describe Samson as a mellow, easygoing boy who is very good with people. He enjoys attention, has a calm presence, and would make a loyal, loving companion. This sweet girl is an absolute cuddle bug who loves giving hugs. If you kneel down or sit beside her, she’ll happily bury her whole face into your chest, soaking up all the affection she can get. Wrigley is extremely social and friendly, greeting everyone she meets like they’re an old friend. She’s been very easy for our staff to handle and has quickly become a favorite thanks to her gentle, affectionate nature. Her previous owner shared that she lived with other dogs and did well with them, though she hasn’t lived with cats before. With her loving heart and affectionate personality, Wrigley would likely do well in just about any home. She’s truly a giant bundle of love who’s ready to give hugs to her forever family every single day. 🐶💛

Kora was listed as a 100% Dachshund from her recent shelter and as Chihuahua mix from her first shelter. Confirmed with a veterinarian she is mix of at least a Pitbull and another long body breed but likely a mix a few breeds still including Pitbull. Kora would thrive best with an experienced adopter who can help her unlearn her aggressive behavior toward other animals and people. Kora would enjoy a house with low noise level. She has not been around small children or cats since I adopted her. She does become aggressive (barking, growling, and jumpy) towards other people and animals when outside on walks. Kora is very affectionate towards me and loves to snuggle and play all day. She loves to sleep in my bed rather than her own. She is very food motivated. Kora is accustomed to using the bathroom outdoors and going for walks every few hours to remain active. Kora was recently treated for excessive diarrhea and has had no accidents since. Kora can’t wait to meet you!
