Story
I'm Sir, very entergetic fun dog, roughly 80lbs but know how to be gental, been with owner for 5 -1/2 yrs. She adopted me from a friend. Have had in house life style with little exposure to outside world. Fully house trained, when got to go out I ring a bell hung on the door, uses lead. Does get timid meeting others at first who are outside my comfort zone but in my own time love it. Have traveled small distances, gone on occational walks does well on harness leash. Needs new home because owner life causes me to be home alone to much. Love to play with toys alone or with them when they have time. Always love the outdoors. Does well with children of all ages, be cautious of female teens on their "timing". Ok with other dogs (haven't had much interaction with them), had cat bro for a bit, he was my bff, high sensitivity to beef and chicken food owner discovered after several ear irritation issues, not tested by Vet, ok with lamb or fish hard food, please consider this new life companion

Story
🐾 Hi, I'm Jackson! 🐾I'm a super-sweet Boxer, and I just turned 7 years old! You might notice I have a little something special about me—I'm totally deaf. But guess what? That doesn't slow me down one bit! I rely on my eyes, my nose, and my amazing sense of wiggle to experience the world.I think of myself as an expert-level cuddler and a full-time professional snuggler. Even though I can't hear them, I watch my humans really carefully, and I know exactly what they mean when they wave their hands or give me a big smile.I have so much energy and love to play! I can run and chase toys with the best of them. I'm a really happy boy, and I make sure to give everyone I meet the biggest, wiggliest greeting ever. Life is an adventure, and I'm ready for the next one!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Hank has been waiting long enough! Since September 2025, this incredible dog has been overlooked—but he’s exactly the kind of companion people say they’re searching for. 💙 He’s already mastered the hard stuff: fully housetrained, respectful in the home, and trustworthy when left alone (yes, your couch is safe 🛋️). His personality strikes that perfect balance—calm and relaxed when you need peace, but always ready to play when it’s time for fun. 😌✨ Hank is amazing with kids—gentle, patient, and the kind of dog you can trust around little ones. 👶❤️ He’s also currently best friends with a cat (yes, really! 🐱), and has lived peacefully alongside a variety of farm friends. Hank's only ask? To be your one and only dog—he wants all that love to himself. 🐾 What makes Hank truly special is how effortlessly he fits into a home. He’s affectionate without being overwhelming, loyal without being demanding—the kind of dog who simply belongs by your side. 📩 Don’t let Hank spend another day without a home! He’s done the waiting. Now he just needs someone to choose him.
