Story
Meet the lovely Liberty, a true embodiment of resilience and joy! 🌟 At just 11 months old and weighing in at a healthy 52 lbs, this beautiful pup has already faced more challenges than most. Found on the side of the road with a broken leg, she was brought to a high-kill shelter in Texas, where her fate seemed grim. But hold onto your hearts, because the tale takes a heartwarming turn! Despite being on the euthanasia list, she captured the hearts of kind souls who saw the spark of hope in her gentle eyes. ❤️✨ After several months of dedicated physical therapy, Liberty has made a triumphant recovery and is ready to dive into her forever home in the Northeast! This exuberant girl thrives in the limelight and lights up every room she enters. Always eager to meet new people, she adores joining her foster parents at cafes and becoming the life of the party while running errands. 🍽️🥳 Liberty is also fantastic with kids! Even in the midst of rambunctious play, she remains a calming presence, ensuring that playtime never turns chaotic. She’s a total sweetheart to other dogs too, earning herself an A++ at doggy daycare! 🐕🎉 Liberty is currently fostered in Brooklyn, NY, and is ready for adoption, whether local or out-of-state—just as long as you can make those travel arrangements to meet this dazzling girl in person. 🌍✈️ Let's change her life together! So, if you’re ready to welcome a joyful companion into your life, don’t hesitate. *Apply through the Buddy App* to get the adoption process started! Together, let's make Liberty’s dream of a forever home come true! 💖 Apply for the pet here: https://tinyurl.com/4w2d92r9

Meet us at Tractor Supply 1253 Route 311, Patterson, NY 12563 on Sunday 1/18/2026 from 11am to 1pm. (Always check our hours and events page in case of inclement weather changes before heading out to the event: https://pawsafe.org/events/ ) 🐾 Meet the "Action Pack" – 11-Week-Old Boxer/Shepherd Mixes! Are you looking for a best friend who is equal parts "wiggle-butt" and "smartypants"? Meet our litter of Boxer/Shepherd mixes! At 11 weeks old, these chunky monkeys are the perfect age to start their forever journey with a family who loves adventure. The Best of Both Worlds These pups have hit the genetic jackpot. They’ve got the Boxer’s famous sense of humor and "kid-at-heart" energy, blended with the Shepherd’s intelligence and loyal, protective nature. They are "velcro dogs" in the making! Health & Stats We’ve done the heavy lifting so you can focus on the bonding: • Age: 11 Weeks • Health: Up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. • Status: Already spayed/neutered and ready to go home on 1/18/2026! • Size: They are currently medium-sized solid pups, but expect them to grow into sturdy, athletic companions (approx. 50–70 lbs). What Their Future Looks Like These aren't couch potato pups! Because they are believed to be half Shepherd, they crave mental stimulation (think puzzle toys and training games). Because they are also believed to be half Boxer, they need room to zoom. They would thrive in homes with: 1. Active Lifestyles: Hikers, runners, or backyard ball-throwers. 2. Training Enthusiasts: They are eager to please and will excel in puppy manners classes. 3. Cuddle Buddies: Once the zoomies are out, they are professional-grade snugglers. How to meet dogs listed with "NY" : If the dog is listed with an 'Avail date" and a (location) - the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in. If the dog is listed as being in a (foster home ie: Foster in Carmel) please email us at info@pawsafe.org and we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dog(s) that interest you at their foster home(s). **** We are sorry, but we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents.
