Cozmo is a loving, energetic, healthy and handsome young boxer boy (2 years old). We say that we rescued him from the pet shop when he was nine weeks old. He has been a great part of the family since, travelling and hiking with us. He is very playful and active and loves to have a company around. He is well behaved, understands basic commands but will benefit from continued training. He grew up in a very dog-friendly and dog-busy neighborhood of Manhattan, so he is very well socialized with other dogs. He has a sensitive stomach, and we find a combination of standard, high-quality dry food and prescribed one the best for him. I am searching for loving new home for Cozmo because of the major changes in the family. My job was reposted oversees and will require monthly travel. The rest of the family had to relocate too. This change will put Cozmo in too much strain. An active family or individual, with love for this wonderful breed and outdoor pursuit would be ideal for him.

I’m a total sweetheart who loves making new friends. Fully House-Trained & Crate-Trained: I haven't had an accident since I was a four-month-old pup! If I need to go outside, I’ll politely let you know with a little whine or by standing at the door. I also appreciate my crate as a safe place to relax. High-Energy Adventurer: I love long hikes, heavy-duty tug toys, and having plenty of safe things to chew on. What I Need in My Humans Because I’m a big, strong guy working through some typical adolescent boundaries, I’m looking for a calm, confident, and experienced handler who understands strong, independent breeds. An Adult-Only Home: Because of my size and excitement levels, I’ll do best in an environment without small children. Structure & Firm Leadership: Outside, I can sometimes test limits or get a bit pushy on the leash. Inside, I occasionally like to steal items and head under the table to see if I can keep them. I need a handler who will maintain consistent boundaries and guide me with confident management. A Calm Environment: Loud noises or barking neighborhood dogs can make me a bit nervous or reactive, but I redirect easily when my handler keeps things calm and controlled. Give me a crate or playpen where I can decompress, and I'm good to go!
