Story

Koda is a fun-loving, easygoing Boxer mix boy who is fostered in Maryland. He loves everyone he meets, dog or human. Koda also loves toys, playing with his foster siblings, sunbathing, and napping. He is tolerant of cats. Koda has a great appetite and has never had an accident in the house. He learned to use the dog door quickly and he is crate trained. Everyone he meets agrees that Koda has the sweetest disposition, especially considering the amount of pain his untreated broken leg must have caused him. He was a rockstar throughout his treatment and recovery, wearing a cumbersome external fixator for almost 2 months without complaint. Koda had the external fixator removed on July 6th. He was recently cleared for all activity after recent xrays. Koda is a tall boy and due to his size, he would do better in a home with older children. He loves sleeping in and has enjoyed summer break when his foster kids let him sleep and he doesn’t have to get up early for school. His tail never stops wagging.

Story

Roscoe has been in foster for a month now in Maryland and is still waiting for a family to choose him! He is neutered and up to date on all vet care. This adorable 6-7 month old boxer mix is a very social boy who enjoys getting attention from anybody who will pay attention to him. Roscoe loves to play with squeaky toys. He also really enjoys going for walks and playing tug with the other two dogs that he lives with. Roscoe has great house manners. This perfectly sweet boy would love to find his forever home.

Story

Ace has been moved to a new foster home in Virginia. His foster mom reports that he has been going on morning walks with another dog. He is doing really well on leash. Ace is great at eye contact and has so much training potential. He knows his basic commands, such as sit and down. Ace’s foster mom is working on providing consistency and continued training. He will go into a crate when left alone and Ace prefers to have a filled Kong to keep him busy when crated. He enjoys being around children, but we are recommending a home with children over the age of 10 in his next placement. Ace can be very mouthy and jumps up on people. He does not realize his size or strength, which can be a problem around smaller children. Ace also needs closely monitored so he does not get into toys and other small items. He is living with a female boxer. Ace would benefit from a securely fenced yard and a younger female dog companion who can match his energy level. He has been bounced around frequently and we would love to find a permanent placement for adoption where he can finally settle in with a family of his own.

Story

Yara is doing great in her foster home in Maryland. She has been making a lot of improvements with her housetraining. She is a very sweet puppy who loves to play with her toys. She also enjoys being around her two boxer foster siblings. Yara is not a fan of walking on leash, so she would do best with a securely fenced yard while she works on leash training. Yara was spayed last week and she is recovering nicely. She is now up to date on all vet care and ready for a forever home of her own!

Story

Jasper was recently moved to a new foster home in Maryland where he would have some younger dog companions to play and socialize with. He is a very smart 5 month old puppy who settled in quickly with his new pack. He will need some work on his crate training and getting used to riding in a car. He is already showing improvements with things such as housetraining and managing stairs. With some continued consistency and training, Jasper is going to be a great addition to a lucky family. He will be neutered this week and then will be ready for a family of his own. We would like to place Jasper in a home with at least one other dog companion and a securely fenced yard.
