That doesn't slow me down one bit! I rely on my eyes, my nose, and my amazing sense of wiggle to experience the world.I think of myself as an expert-level cuddler and a full-time professional snuggler. Even though I can't hear them, I watch my humans really carefully, and I know exactly what they mean when they wave their hands or give me a big smile.I have so much energy and love to play! I can run and chase toys with the best of them. I'm a really happy boy, and I make sure to give everyone I meet the biggest, wiggliest greeting ever. No zig-zagging, no squirrel Olympics just nice, leisurely strolls and excellent manners. Volunteers call me “a pleasure,” which I believe is code for “why is this perfect boy still here?” I’m a loyal, low-key companion who’s great with other dogs (as long as they're calm like me) and people of all ages. I don’t need to be the center of attention, just the center of your couch. 🛋️ I’ll be honest… being 11 years old in a shelter is a little humbling. The puppies get adopted while I sit here with my tidy bed and my distinguished gray face. But if you’re looking for steady, grateful love instead of drywall-eating chaos, I’m your guy. 💛 One soft bed. One kind human. That’s all this old gentleman needs. 🦴

You might not like the flavor of black licorice, but wait until you`ve met this dynamic guy who`s an absolute sweet treat! Licorice (40lbs) came to us when his owners had to move and sadly couldn`t take him with them. At just five months old, he`s already got a few tricks under his belt, and as long as you`re not a vacuum, he`s interested in getting to know you! He`s very friendly, but he`ll need to get to know you before he`s going to show you his favorite blanket or ball. We know that he`s lived with kids and other dogs, but we`d still love to set up a separate meet and greet for any current resident canines.
