Meet Midnight — A Sweet Soul Searching for a Second Chance Midnight found his way back to us on November 26, 2025, after his owners went through a difficult divorce and could no longer keep him. It’s been a heartbreaking transition for this sweet boy. He originally arrived at the shelter in November 2025, was adopted about a month later, and spent nearly a year enjoying the love, comfort, and routine of a real home. Now, he’s hoping his stay with us will be a short one as he dreams of returning to that cozy home life he misses so much. At 1 year and 11 months old, Midnight is fully vetted, housebroken, and ready to meet his forever family. He’s a gentle, yet playful, affectionate companion who loves going for walks and soaking up all the body rubs and attention you’re willing to share. He loves playing with his shelter mate Mocha..running back and forth wears him out but fills his heart with so much happiness! Come by and spend some time with this handsome sweetheart — you may just find that he’s exactly what your heart and home have been missing.

He enjoys playing fetch and will happily chase the ball, retrieve it, and bring it right back for another throw.
