She came into rescue with Jackson, her bonded partner, who sadly lost his battle with cancer. Losing him has been incredibly hard on Nova, but she continues to show up every day with a gentle heart, a wagging tail, and so much love to give. Now, she’s ready for her fresh start. Nova is a beautiful a 43lbs Boxer/Shepherd mix with a personality that truly shines. She is incredibly friendly and adaptable—the kind of dog you can take just about anywhere. Whether it’s riding along in the car, hanging out at work, or relaxing at home, Nova is simply happy to be by your side. She is: - Dog friendly (loves the dog park!) - Cat friendly - People friendly Nova has a playful side and enjoys being part of the action, but she’s also very easygoing. Even when she gets a little excited, she responds well to redirection and settles nicely. She is fully vetted, healthy, and ready to go home—what she’s missing is a family to give her the stability, comfort, and love she deserves after everything she’s been through. Nova isn’t just looking for a home—she’s been waiting for you.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi I'm Ty! My estimated DOB is 1/5/2026. I may be a puppy but right now I am just thankful to my fosters for helping my Momma and my brother Poe and Pawfect Match for also rescuing me. You see my Mom lived as a stray for over 6 years out and about, no home, no family, no medical care.  She stayed in an abandon building on someone's property and ate what she could find yet the property owners would not let her be saved. The nice neighbor(my fosters) never gave up and recently me and my brother were born. My Momma moved to another abandon building near the property where our now foster would talk to her to build her trust.  Then one day the fosters were outside and both me and my brother Poe were just learning to walk and crossed into their yard and Momma followed behind.  The Foster allowed Momma and us to shelter in their home and we were reported as found strays and no one claimed them. Now part of Pawfect Match we are ready for our forever homes!   *** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
