Story
Blanco is a big lover boy. He is always SO excited for love and attention. He is a very athletic boy- he loves to run along the fences here with the other dogs. With some training he would be a great adventure buddy. He is a very strong boy so a firm handler would be best. Breed knowledge would definitely be an asset. He used to be a part of a bonded pair- he was abandoned by his family with his brother Bruno. Unfortunately the stress of losing their family was enough to sever their bond. Bruno is now the most spoiled and loved baby out there- we want that same thing for poor Blanco, who has been waiting over a year for his forever family to come along. Blanco is hoping for an active home where he can be very involved in what you're doing. He could be successful in a home with another dog with a proper slow introduction, time and patience. He has shown signs of resource guarding in the past, so this is something to be mindful of. He has not been tested with cats but would likely chase them. Due to his exuberant nature, he would be best suited to a family with older or no children. The adoption fee includes: - Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme -Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma -Deworming -Spay/Neuter -Microchipping - Any other necessary treatments or surgeries

Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mr. McGoo was found as a stray with poor coat quality. Rescues were unwilling to take him due to the medical cost required to address his skin. With our veterinarians help, he is ready to find his new home. He is currently on a hypo allergenic diet and weekly baths. We will soon try a new diet to see if he truly needs the special diet. He has been reactive to other dogs... he is now neutered and we are hoping his reactivity will decrease with time and proper owner handling. He would do best in a home without other pets and experienced dog owners. He currently knows his basic manners and is continuing to work on his reaction to dogs.
