Story
Blanco is 3-4 year old. He is a big lover boy. He is always SO excited for love and attention. He is a very athletic boy- he loves to run along the fences here with the other dogs. With some training he would be a great adventure buddy. He is a very strong boy so a firm handler would be best. Breed knowledge would definitely be an asset. He used to be a part of a bonded pair- he was abandoned by his family with his brother Bruno. Unfortunately the stress of losing their family was enough to sever their bond. Bruno is now the most spoiled and loved baby out there- we want that same thing for poor Blanco, who has been waiting over a year for his forever family to come along. Blanco is hoping for an active home where he can be very involved in what you're doing. He could be successful in a home with another dog with a proper slow introduction, time and patience. He has shown signs of resource guarding in the past, so this is something to be mindful of. He has not been tested with cats but would likely chase them. Due to his exuberant nature, he would be best suited to a family with older or no children. The adoption fee includes: - Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme -Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma -Deworming -Spay/Neuter -Microchipping - Any other necessary treatments or surgeries

Story
Health Issues None Temperament - Playful and spirited girl. - People friendly. She may be a bit reserved when first meeting new people but warms up quickly. - Can exhibit some reactivity to other dogs when on-leash or behind a fence, but less as she’s gets older. - With proper introductions and supervised visits, she has enjoyed playtime with other dogs. She does best with calmer dogs that tolerate her rambunctious style of play - Very happy to relax and cuddle once she’s had her required amount of exercise. - Moderate-high prey drive. Likes to chase squirrels and birds. - Can be slightly destructive when bored. - Not much of a swimmer, but she enjoys playing in water. - Responds well to verbal cues and attempts to redirect her attention. - Her leash skills and basic obedience are good. She seems to enjoy one-on-one training sessions. Owner Suitability -Enjoys being a part of day-to-day activities and would benefit from a home in which people are around most of the day. -Would benefit from daily walks and opportunities to play throughout the day. - Loves to be off leash with people. - She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard as she is a curious girl and enjoys opportunities to explore. - Best suited to a home with no other dogs. - Can happily live in a home with cats. She does show occasional interest in playing, but is very respectful of the cat not wanting to engage.

Hi, I’m Vida! I’m sweet, gentle and a little bit shy. I love to snuggle but will need to get to know you first please. I get along well with other dogs and am very playful. I am looking for a hooman that enjoys walks and snuggles. If my new home has kids I’d prefer them to be a little older. Breed: Boxer mix, Approx 70lbs Estimated DOB: 2024

Story
Hello there, I’m Joeseph! Don’t be sucked in by these young whipper-snappers, what you need is a dog with maturity and experience! I’ve lived in tents for most of my life and have lots of stories to tell from my life on the streets. Ask me about the time I was hit by a car and still walked home! I’m fit for my age and still enjoy walks but I also appreciate a slower lifestyle. If you’re looking for a running buddy, I am not the one for you. I get along with other dogs, cats and all types of people, I’m too old for drama! Breed: Boxer mix approx 60lbs Approx DOB: December 2010
