Story
Hi there! I'm Malarkey! Now, before you worry that my name means trouble, I promise I'm mostly all bark and no malarkey! I'm almost 3 years old and am proudly 99% certified Good Boy, with just a sprinkle of classic Boxer silliness mixed in.My favorite things in life include walks, toys, balls, zooming around the yard, and being wherever my people are. Once I've had a chance to burn off some energy, I'm more than happy to trade my running shoes for cuddle mode and curl up beside you for a nap.Need to leave the house? No problem! I'll hold down the fort while you're gone. And when you come home? Get ready for my signature Boxer welcome—a full-body wiggle, bouncing "kidney bean" dance, and enough excitement to make you feel like a celebrity.I'm great with kids, enjoy other dogs, and have lived with both young children and small canine friends. I'm house-trained, know my basic commands, and have earned an honorary PhD in Snuggling.I do take my self-appointed neighborhood watch duties seriously, so if I hear something suspicious, I'll let you know with a few woofs. You can thank me later. My dream home includes people to love, a yard for the occasional zoomie session, daily walks, and a comfy bed (preferably one close to you). If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a huge heart, a goofy grin, and enough personality to keep you laughing every day, then look no further. After all, life is always more fun with a little Malarkey! 🐾❤️Located in MidlandMust Have✔ Detached home in a suburban or rural area✔ Daily exercise, including at least two walks and playtime✔ A family committed to continuing his socialization and confidence-building✔ Children are welcome—Malarkey has lived with and enjoys kids✔ Another friendly dog would be a bonus, though not required✔ An active household that can keep up with a young BoxerNot Recommended✘ Apartments, condos, or shared-wall living situations due to his barking and vocal nature✘ Homes looking for a low-energy or couch-potato dog✘ Homes where he would regularly be left alone for longer than 8 hours✘ Homes expecting a dog that is already fully confident in all environments—Malarkey is still learning that the world isn't a scary place✘ Homes with cats (compatibility unknown)

OPEN TO FOSTER TO ADOPTATTENTION! Sarge here, to sell you on all the wonderful reasons for you to adopt me! First, I am a stunningly handsome, almost 2 year-old, neutered, purebred Boxer full of lots of fun, adventure and love to give your family. Second, I am your typical lovable, goofy, high energy boy - always having to be where the action is ... even if there is no action whatsoever. I guess that is why Private Foster Mom recommends no cats nor small dogs because I have to always be where they are, even if they don't want me to; I don't see any reason why I can't follow them wherever they go to ensure they are following the rules, but she says that cats and some dogs prefer their privacy. Why she also recommends that my forever family would best be one that either already has a boxer or had one previously, so that they are fully on board with what I am! The next best home would be one with another high energy dog who could keep up with my goofiness. Third, I know I would love a family who is as adventurous as me, but who can also provide me with some structure as I can be a little too much with people too. I just like to jump up to say Hi and do a sniff inspection, but not everyone likes that. Why Private Foster Mom also recommends that my best chance for success would be with a family that has older children and who are as active as I am - no young children or Senior Citizens who might find my boisterousness to be a little off-putting. Fourth, I do require at least 2 walks each day, but they don't have to be long - just enough to help with my energy level. I also am pretty good on a walk - I do get excited when I see other people, especially if they have dogs too, but Foster Mom is working on this and she believes that socialization, training, and structure will help me get better.Fifth, like any good soldier, I do know some Commands - Sit, Down, Wait/Stay and Leave It - I even sit and wait for each meal when I am asked.I do have a food allergy that PFM is dealing with by putting me on a raw diet - I know, I LOVE IT, and since being with her, some of my hair has started to come back, so Bonus right?!! Hope you will find me as absolutely wonderful as I find myself!Located in Little Britain

***COMING SOON*** Please note that Zee is a foster to adopt and will be adopted by her foster home once vetting has been completed Hi my name is Zee zee - you can just call me Zee! I came to HBR when the living situation at my home changed. So far this new place is SO much fun. There is a boy dog who looks identical to me AND these giant dogs with hooves instead of paws. Foster mom calls them horses, I think theyre pretty cool. Stay tuned for more updates as i settle in. Zee is 9mos old and being fostered in Port Perry.

Story
Hi...I`m Vixen!I am a sweet, loving and confident girl who loves to go on walks and play with that special someone. Once we become friends I love to be loved, I`m very affectionate. And even though I can be a little unsure of new people, I am super friendly once I know you. I tend to have a lot to say in my run, hey I`m a vocal gal. So probably no apartments for me, I dont wanna disturb your neighbours. Some would say size-wise I sound like I`d make an ideal apartment dog, 52 lbs to be exact.I am pretty good with other fellow dogs, but I can come on a little strong. A calmer, more laid back type of dog would probably work best for me. And did I mention I am a great listener?! If I sound wonderful to you why not come down to London Animal Care Centre and meet me. And lets take a walk together, see you soon.

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Spirit. And that`s what I am definitely full of...spirit! Don`t let my age fool you with me being a little older. I`m lively and active, full of fun. On top of that I`m so friendly and loving, I`m even okay with cats. The dog walkers say I am great to walk which I very much enjoy. With being a robust 81 lbs this would be a wonderful benefit to me. I could probably stand to lose a pound or two. Since I would rather be out of my run, I tend to be a little on the vocal side sometimes when I`m in there. Hey, all I want is to be out and about. At least when I am in my run I keep it spotless and clean, it is believed I am housetrained. If I sound like the companion for you come to London Animal Care Centre and let`s meet. We can even maybe take a stroll together. See you soon!Spirit.
