Story
🐾 Meet your new best friend! 🐾Hi! I’m a 6 -month-old Boxer mix with a BIG personality packed into a wiggly little body. I’ve got energy to spare—I love to play, explore, and zoom around like it’s my full-time job! When I’m not on the move, I’m all about the good stuff: treats (I’m very motivated 😉) and cozy snuggles right next to my favorite humans.I’m still learning about the world, so new things can make me a little unsure sometimes. But with patience, positive training, and lots of encouragement, I’m going to grow into a confident, happy dog. I just need someone who believes in me and is excited to help me get there 💛✨ My ideal home:• Active family who loves walks, playtime, and being outdoors• Can be in suburban, rural, or city settings—I’m adaptable!• Kids are okay (I’m still a puppy and can be a bit nippy while I learn)• I may need slow introductions to other pets• Best with someone committed to continuing my training and building my confidence✨ Fun facts about me:• I LOVE fetch, walks, and snuggles• My favorite treats? Everything! (Carrots, dog treats, even ice cubes 🧊)• I know “sit,” “stay,” “turnaround,” and I ring a bell to go outside!• I’m crate trained and can stay home alone for several hours• I’m working hard on being the best girl—training is going great so far!I’m a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup who will keep you smiling all day—and happily curl up beside you at night. 🐶💕I’m ready to find my forever home… maybe it’s with you? 🏡💛**located in Oshawa

Hi I’m Riggs! I’m a handsome Boxer boy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. I love being outside where I can run, play, and stretch my legs. Whether I’m chasing after a toy, exploring the yard, or soaking up the sunshine, I’m happiest when I’ve got room to move and people to share my adventures with.I’m a social guy who enjoys meeting new people and making friends. My bark might sound tough, but I’m really just saying hello. I’m playful, loving, and always ready for some fun. I’d be happiest in a home with older kids or adults who appreciate my Boxer-style enthusiasm and goofy energy. At home, I’m a total sweetheart. I sleep quietly at the foot of the bed all night and love being near my people. My foster family says I’ve got a gentle side that shines through more and more every day.I’m smart, affectionate, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing, love you unconditionally, and remind you to enjoy every sunny day, I’m your guy.*located in Little Britain**Previous home said not good with cats**Prefer a home with no other dogsrequires experienced owner

Story
ATTENTION! Sarge here, to sell you on all the wonderful reasons for you to adopt me! First, I am a stunningly handsome, almost 2 year-old, neutered, purebred Boxer full of lots of fun, adventure and love to give your family. Second, I am your typical lovable, goofy, high energy boy - always having to be where the action is ... even if there is no action whatsoever. I guess that is why Private Foster Mom recommends no cats nor small dogs because I have to always be where they are, even if they don't want me to; I don't see any reason why I can't follow them wherever they go to ensure they are following the rules, but she says that cats and some dogs prefer their privacy. Why she also recommends that my forever family would best be one that either already has a boxer or had one previously, so that they are fully on board with what I am! The next best home would be one with another high energy dog who could keep up with my goofiness. Third, I know I would love a family who is as adventurous as me, but who can also provide me with some structure as I can be a little too much with people too. I just like to jump up to say Hi and do a sniff inspection, but not everyone likes that. Why Private Foster Mom also recommends that my best chance for success would be with a family that has older children and who are as active as I am - no young children or Senior Citizens who might find my boisterousness to be a little off-putting. Fourth, I do require at least 2 walks each day, but they don't have to be long - just enough to help with my energy level. I also am pretty good on a walk - I do get excited when I see other people, especially if they have dogs too, but Foster Mom is working on this and she believes that socialization, training, and structure will help me get better.Fifth, like any good soldier, I do know some Commands - Sit, Down, Wait/Stay and Leave It - I even sit and wait for each meal when I am asked.I do have a food allergy that PFM is dealing with by putting me on a raw diet - I know, I LOVE IT, and since being with her, some of my hair has started to come back, so Bonus right?!! Hope you will find me as absolutely wonderful as I find myself!Located in Chatham

***COMING SOON*** Please note that Zee is a foster to adopt and will be adopted by her foster home once vetting has been completed Hi my name is Zee zee - you can just call me Zee! I came to HBR when the living situation at my home changed. So far this new place is SO much fun. There is a boy dog who looks identical to me AND these giant dogs with hooves instead of paws. Foster mom calls them horses, I think theyre pretty cool. Stay tuned for more updates as i settle in. Zee is 9mos old and being fostered in Port Perry.

Story
Hey world… Scott here 🐾Yep, that Scott — the 4-month-old black boxer mix you didn’t know you were missing.Let me tell you a little about myself (because honestly, I’m kind of a catch).I’m what you’d call a “best of both worlds” kinda guy. One minute I’m zooming around the yard like a tiny rocket, wrestling with my doggy friends and living my best life… and the next? I’m curled up beside you on the couch, snoring like I pay rent here.Speaking of yards — I definitely need one. I’ve got some serious zoomies to get out, and it’s just way more fun when I’ve got space (and preferably a buddy) to run around with. Apartment life? Meh. I mean… I’d rather not.Now let’s talk about my dream home:I LOVE kids — all of them. Little ones, big ones, doesn’t matter. I’m super gentle, no jumping, no nipping… just good boy energy all around. I’ve been told I’m very polite for a puppy (I try my best, okay?).I’d also really, really love a dog sibling. Like… really love it. Wrestling is my absolute favourite sport. My current best friend is a tiny 10lb blind Boston Terrier, and I let him win every time (don’t tell him I said that). I also live with a senior dog and totally respect her space — I’m not annoying, I promise.Cats? Cool. Farm animals? Probably fine. I’m more of a “make friends, not chaos” kinda dude.I’m not super into treats (weird, I know), but give me a cow hoof to chew on and I’m a happy guy. I also love tug-of-war, walks, and honestly… just being wherever you are.I know some basics like “sit” and “come,” and I’m working on more — I’m eager to please, so I pick things up pretty quick. I’ll need a bit more help with house training since I’m still a baby, but hey, nobody’s perfect.I can hang out at home for a few hours (4–6 is cool) as long as I’ve got a dog buddy to keep me company. No separation drama here. The only thing? I’m probably not the best match if it’s just seniors at home taking care of me — I’m a solid little dude (they call me a “pork chop” 😏) and I’ve got some strength and energy behind me.What I really want is a family who will include me in their life. Take me on adventures, bring me places, let me meet new people and animals. I’m a total social butterfly and I thrive on new experiences.Honestly… I’ve been told I’m one of the easiest puppies my foster family has ever had (12 years of experience — no big deal). I just get the vibe and roll with it.So yeah… if you’re looking for a gentle, goofy, cuddly, adventure-loving best friend with elite wrestling skills…I’m your guy.Love,Scott 🐶💛*located in Espanola
