Story
Hi my name is Basil !! I love being around people. I need to run, play and walk several times a day because I have an energetic personality. I am still learning to be social with other dogs but always want to play with them. My fosters are working on crate training and good leash manners. I am highly motivated to learn when treats are involved and we're working on eye contact when I need to settle down. I haven't mastered the art of being comfortable alone yet, so there is some whining and crying. I need a couple chew toys around me at all times so I don't get bored. Belly rubs are always welcome and sometimes I think I'm a lap dog and want to be as close as possible for snuggles and kisses. When the doorbell rings I'm all about greeting everyone with a wagging tail but need to learn not to jump. I don't bark often but when I do people certainly know I'm there. I let my fosters know I have to go out by standing by the back door. I'm always down to snuggle and like it best when my foster mom lets me sleep right beside her. HOME REQUIREMENTS-EXPERIENCED HOME - HOME WITH A YARD ( NO APARTMENTS PLEASE)- KIDS OVER THE AGE OF 8 OR DOG SAVVY-He is vocal on leash when he sees another dog or human. He wants to meet everyone, he will jump but nothing aggressive. LOCATED IN BURLINGTON

Story
Hello there! I`m Mr. Topps, your soon-to-be best buddy. I`m quite the character, full of life and zest. You`ll never have a dull moment with me around. My days are spent being playful and energetic, often causing some good-hearted mischief. I`m a goofball, always ready to make you laugh with my silly antics. I can be a bit mouthy and jumpy, but that`s just because I`m so eager to share my joy with you.Something that you should know about me is that I could be hard of hearing or possibly fully deaf. This is something that does happen in my breed and I am showing signs that I unfortunately cannot hear. That being said, I know my hand signals for sit and down but you`ll need to be willing to teach me in a different non-verbal way as we learn together!I am super friendly to everyone I meet, always ready to make new friends. The people here aren`t sure if I have ever been around children or cats. As for dogs, I can be a bit frightened of them, so if you have a dog, it`s best they are respectful and can give me time to warm up. So, why should you adopt me? Well, if you`re looking for a companion who will keep you entertained, make you laugh, and give you endless love, then I`m your guy. I promise to bring so much joy and fun into your life. Can`t wait to meet you! Also since I`m considered an `underdog` adoption, that means my fee is up to you! I`m an underdog because I will need extra training.

Story
Hi there, I`m Roo! I`m a young ball of energy who loves to explore and play. My days are filled with bouncy, silly antics that will surely make you laugh. I`ve got a curious nature, always sniffing out the next adventure. I can be a little apprehensive in new situations with new things going on, but I`m also very curious and warm pretty quickly. I might be a little goofy, but that`s just part of my charm. I`ve got a big bark, but once I meet a human I melt like butter. The humans don`t know much about me and kiddos, but I`m willing to make some new friends if you have them. I can be a bit unsure of doggos, so I do best with the respectful kind that let me ease into things. I`m sweet and friendly, always ready to give a wagging tail welcome. If you`re looking for a funny, energetic companion who`ll keep you on your toes, I`m your girl! Adopting me means endless fun, laughter, and a loyal friend for life.As you can see i`m a `special paws` adoption this is because I have chronic skin and ear issues, that will be ongoing and my new family will need to follow-up with family vet post adoption. Luckily this means my adoption fee is up to you!
