ADOPTION PENDINGMy name is Cashew! I am settling in with my foster family. I wasn’t sure what that meant, but from what I can see, I know that its good and I like it. I love my bed, fluffy blankets and can’t get enough love.My foster mom says I have adjusted really quickly to my new surroundings and routine and that I amreally smart. I am curious about most things except outside. Maybe it’s the cold weather or the snow, but I would rather stay cozy in the house. I don’t put up too much of a fight, a little encouragement out the door and I will follow you anywhere. I am a great walking buddy! Right beside you, with the leash so loose, my foster mom sometimes has to glance over to check I am still connected to it. I haven’t seen any children, cats or other dogs here yet so not sure if they will like me so I will keep you posted on that. I haven’t been with my foster family all that long, so they are still getting to know me, but they tell me all the time that I am such a good boy!

Hey all, it's me, CheckersWhat's that? You love hiking. Guess what? Me too!I am a young boy found as a stray. Homeward Bound Rescue gave me this wonderful foster family who have taken amazing care of me. And guess what? I have a foster fur-brother. I absolutely love running and wrestling with him. I would LOVE to have another dog that I can play with and be my bestest friend. I am learning new tricks and commands every day and I gladly do them because I know there's a treat waiting for me.I happily go into my crate when no one is home and also at night time. I am very quiet in there. I do well with a large Kong filled with peanut and treats to help keep me occupied when everyone goes to work and school.Because I am young and just learning how to be the best boy, I would do amazing with older kids(7+). I just want to be in your lap all day and might try to bounce right on your lap.I haven't met a cat but its probably best I don't live with one. Izzy is a 4yr old boxer pit mix. I adopted her as a puppy from the humane society and she has always lived with other dogs. Unfortunately due to problems she is having with one of my older corgis i am asking she go to a home with no other pets. She loves her stuffed animals, playing catch, tennis and basket balls are her favorite. She loves to cuddle on the couch and in bed with her human. She also enjoys walks and car rides (long and short). She is a good dog for someone who is not gone for long periods at a time and loves to cuddle.
