Hi, I’m Libby, a lovely Boxer mix with a soft heart and a very sweet way about me. I can be a little timid when we first meet, but give me a little kindness and some gentle pets, and you’ll see me start to relax and lean into your affection. Once I feel safe, I’m the kind of girl who wants to trust and be close. I’m 3.5 years old, 44 pounds, and already spayed, so I’m ready to head home with my new family. I came to the shelter when the people who had me could no longer care for me, but I’m looking ahead now. I tested well with both dogs and cats, which could make me a wonderful fit for a home that wants a calm, gentle companion with a little extra tenderness in her soul. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones, I just might be your girl. There is something really special about earning the love of a dog like me, and I think the person who gives me that chance is going to get a loyal best friend in return. Libby's adoption fee is $275. This beauty is named Tania. She is 2 years old and is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Tania came to us as an owner surrender due to housing issues. This girl is sweet as can be. She is very affectionate and loves attention. Tania does know some basic commands (especially in Spanish) and walks fairly well on a leash. She is good with other dogs, cats and loves children. Tania would do best in an active home since she is still young. She enjoys going for walks and running in the LHS yard. Whoever adopts this girl, will be getting a real gem. Tania is the perfect pooch. If you can give Tania the life she deserves, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm or Saturday 12-3p.

Shirley is a young adult Boxer mix that came to Tri-County as a stray and sadly her family never came to claim her. Now Shirley has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready for a fresh start. Shirley can be a bit shy when first meeting her but she is a lovable girl with a sweet personality. She enjoys being outside playing with her BFF ( Avett ), going for walks and snuggling. She is an active member of the play groups and gets along with other dogs. This girl needs a soft & gentle touch to give her direction, praise & love. If you are looking for a loving, loyal dog who's ready to grow with you Shirley may be your perfect match!
