Kama Over 2 years.. 2 years Kama has been in the rescue... Kama is a beautiful 3 year old timid girl with a sad past we don't know much about apart from she was trapped in Memphis Tennessee on the streets,she may not have had an owner prior to us to be honest..we believe she was born to a stray mom and lived life on the streets until she was trapped around 7-8 months old & ended up in a kill shelter where we pulled her into the rescue last minute. Kama has been in the rescue 2 years now and does let people touch her in brief pets , but very limited and is still a huge work in progress..we're hoping to find a family who would be willing to help show her trust and put into the time she needs, she loves having another big dog around. It helps her feel safe, she will require a home with another dog friendly big dog. She can not be an only dog. You Must have a fenced in yard, no very young kids. She is NOT a beginner dog and will not go to just anyone. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated and on hw prevention. We will continue to work on Bringing her out of her shell while here. We think she is a boxer type mix . She's never been around cats. No kids, due to her timid behavior. She keeps a tidy kennel and I believe she could very well be housebroken quickly .Around 40lbs Located in Cosby Tennessee. Kamas adoption fee is waived to a perfect home. She needs another dog in the home and requies a fenced in secured yard. She's not comfortable with a leash/going outside of her yard/car rides etc ,she will need some major work with this. Ivony is so beautiful and an absolute natural model, I can't believe she's been here so long 😭(since nov 2022) We pulled Ivony from a Memphis kill list where she was set to be euthanized that day. She'd do best as an only pet,or with another ,submissive dog her size 40lb + . This girl absolutel loves her people, loves to cuddle and wants attention all the time. She needs a human who will let her share the bed with them, she's such a sweet girl, shes about 4-5 years old. Ivony would do best with a family who is home often . She is very reactive of things out side, cars driving by, people walking, the neighbors all the way across the street doing whatever in their yard. She does have a barking habit, and can be a talkative girl, but alot of that could be from bordem of sitting in the area she's in, for years now 💔she does have prey drive.. some one PLEASE consider adopting Ivony, or atleast come spend some time with her. She is pretty much house broken . Walks on leash but needs a bit more training not to pull. Our beautiful girl Liora is doing so wonderful, shes ready to start the hunt for her perfect home. This bouncy, playful, energetic girl needs a home fit for that goofy boxer personality. Estimated to be about 4 months old and a boxer ❣️ she came to us after being found left abandoned in a house skin & bones( see pics at the end) her foster momma had done wonders getting her healthy and ready for her next step of the journey. Liora is all play and really needs a home with other dogs who want to play alot too and kids she can play with would be loved too. She just wants ALL the friends Her foster momma says- "Lol she is growing a lot, mainly her legs and abdomen lol she has such a unique, goofy personality!! She is such a snuggler and plays so well, she jumps, bounces and plays tag🤣 She will make an incredible family member to someone!🥰 I have noticed that she is getting pretty attached, which kind of worries me regarding how much longer she has to wait to start bonding with her permanent family. Lol she can stay with me as long as she needs, that's no problem👌🏻 Just giving you an update on her progress😊🐾💕I hate it because I have fallen in love with her, but she is very much a hyper, energetic Boxer who wants to run, play, sleep some and repeat lol. I want to keep her so bad, but she would be much better with kids and more room to run🥰 I am definitely going to tear up when I have to hand her over, but it is all worth it to see her so happy and healthy🥲🥰🥲 She does great with baths, she is using the potty pads pretty well, she shows zero food/toy aggression which i have watched for considering she was starved and may have the thought that the food will be taken, but she has done wonderful! She loves to snuggle, does great with my other dogs and cats, she is just full of love and energy! She is doing a bit better with the separation anxiety, I think with a little more time she will get over it🥰" Liora is utd on vaccines, deworming and flea prevention and once a bit more filled out will be spayed and microchipped. Her adoption will not be finalized until she is spayed. She is being fostered in Talbott Tennessee Boxer experience is a plus 🤞

Piper was a stray that we took into our home in april. It was apparent that she had recently had a litter of puppies so we were getting her on the list to be spayed. However we determined that she was pregnant before we could get her spayed. She delivered a litter of puppies in june. She has since been spayed and is up to date on shots. We have several dogs in our home and she gets along great with them. She doesn't really bother our cats too much but she does want to play with them. She is great with children of all ages as she hasn't been exposed to my grandchildren. The only time she barks is when the neighbor's dog is outside barking as well. This sweet girl needs a home all of her own. She would be great with another dog but right now we just have too many dogs in our home to give her the proper amount of time and attention that she deserves.
