Max is a 3 year old Boxer/Pit Bull mix looking for his forever home. Max was adopted form a shelter as a young puppy, then abandoned by his owner just a year later. He has been in foster care waiting for the right family to come along. Max enjoys car rides, going for walks, meeting new people, playing with toys, and cuddling with his people. He is a very sweet and attentive dog. He is highly trainable as he learns new tricks very fast. Max has a medium level of energy. He can definitely keep up with long walks and new adventures but is just as happy to hang out on the couch. Max is good with dogs his size or larger, but needs a home without smaller animals, including small dogs and cats.

Hi, I'm Oakley! I'm a goofy two-year old Boxer who was brought to the SPCA from another shelter, where I was declining after a life of physical abuse. Since going into a foster home, I've learned that not all humans want to hurt me and that sometimes they'll even give me treats or cuddles! I am your typical boxer; I'm a goofball with some energy and prey drive, but I get along great with dogs my size. I do well in a kennel, am potty-trained, and I'm not a nuisance barker! There is one more important thing to know about me, and that is my heart worm status. I am positive for heartworms, and I know that sounds intimidating, but it's really not! All it means is I need some special medicine and lots of ear scratches until I test negative again.

If you haven`t been dazzled by his handsomeness yet Thomas`s loving personality should do the trick. He`s quite the calm and laidback flirt. Just pet him for a second and before you know it you`re on the receiving end of lots of sweet kisses! He`s super friendly and has an average energy level: he can be calm and sit next to you for hours, but he`s also happy to run around and play. Thomas doesn`t show very much interest in toys, but he`s VERY interested in treats and is always happy to sit on command for one. He`s been working on learning to lay on command as well, and seems to already be potty trained.
