Story
The sweet happy-go-lucky girl is Lady! She is a 1 year old Boxer mix who loves everyone. She gets along great with dogs, and she doesn’t know a stranger. Lady doesn’t seem to pay any mind to cats that we have walked past. This sweet girl came to us after having a litter of puppies, unfortunately even though Lady was an amazing momma, most of her babies passed away due to elements and parasites before we were notified that they needed help. She only has one sole survivor from the litter. We’ve spayed Lady so she will never have to go through that again! She is up to date on all shots and preventative, and heartworm negative! Please let us know if you’d like to meet this sweet sweet girl.

Story
Meet Duke: The Three-Legged Wonder with a Heart of Gold! Looking for a resilient, happy-go-lucky charmer? Meet Duke, the spunky fella who proves that a fresh start is always possible! Despite losing a rear leg in a past accident, Duke doesn’t let anything slow him down. He runs, plays, and lives life to the fullest—completely unbothered by his unique gait. The Perfect Roommate Duke is a total gentleman indoors! He is fully housetrained and hasn't had a single accident. He’s got a reliable routine, too—he always poops around 3:00 or 4:00 PM and loves his morning, midday, and nightly walks. (Just a heads up: he’s on a mission to pee on every tree in the neighborhood!) Playtime & Personality Duke is playful but knows exactly what he likes! His favorite things include: • Specialty Bones: Specifically, the medium-small chicken-flavored chew bones. • The "Rag Shake": Give him a cloth or an old rag and watch him go to town shaking it around! • Social Butterfly: He adores people of all ages and is an A+ student on the leash at public events. Best Friends with Everyone Duke is an absolute saint with other pets. He gets along amazingly well with both dogs and cats, making him the perfect addition to a multi-pet home. He’s also perfectly content and well-behaved when it’s time for his crate.

Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue.
