Story
Faunus was adopted as a puppy and recently returned after discovering his talent as a bit of an escape artist—unfortunately hurting himself during his last great adventure. He’s all healed up now and ready to start fresh with a family who can help keep him safe and secure. Despite his rocky return, Faunus is a total happy-go-lucky sweetheart. He absolutely loves people and soaks up attention, and his foster describes him as eager to please and always ready to make you smile. He’s done well with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet household. Faunus is potty trained, does well in a crate, and enjoys having structure. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and is just pending a heartworm test. If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be loved, Faunus may be your perfect match.

Story
True to her name, Tippy Tap is a 2–3 year old mixed breed with happy feet and an even happier heart. This people-loving girl was brought in as a stray and is now ready to tap-dance her way into a forever home. She is great with kids and new people, loves playtime, and thrives on human attention. Tippy Tap appears to be housebroken, did well being left alone, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. She cannot live with cats and has a history of jumping a fence, so a secure yard or leash supervision will be important. She hasn’t seemed bothered by her doggy neighbors so far (formal dog testing still to come). Tippy Tap has received all of her vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed, spayed, heartworm negative, and on prevention. If you’re looking for a cheerful, active companion who lives for playtime, tail wags, and people time, Tippy Tap might just be your perfect match. 💃🐶

Handsome Tex is a happy boy who is approximately 4.5 years old and 50 lbs. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. TEX will come running with a smile when you call him. Tex is a successful graduate of a formal training program. He will happily demonstrate his skills! Tex has perfect leash manners, is great in his crate and loves car rides. He is a quiet boy and not destructive. When comfortable, Tex is a giant love bug, rolls over for belly rubs, runs and plays, gives kisses and is beyond loyal. Tex has been seeking his "forever" home for too long. He is very deserving of a loving family of his own.

Story
Ginger is 7 months old. Ginger was at a Farmers' Market when she was about 4 weeks old. Our goal was to temporarily foster Ginger. Ginger is now ready for her forever home. Ginger is a cuddle bug and very gentle. She is curious and adventuresome. She loves to go on walks, hikes, and ride in the car. Ginger enjoys displaying her agility. Ginger is quick and loves to jump over things. Ginger has a personality that indicates she would be a good emotional support dog or a service dog. I have trained two dogs as service dogs for my husband. He has since passed, however, if he were alive, I would train Ginger to be his service dog. Please remember training a service dog is a 2-year long process. Ginger loves running and playing with my grandson (he is 10). Ginger loves to swim and ride in boats. She is very loving and attentive. Ginger is sensitive to emotions and responds to those emotions.

Story
Looking for a best friend full of love, personality, and snuggles? Kira is a sweet, affectionate girl who feels safest and happiest indoors with her people. She thrives in a calm, stable home where she can relax, be loved, and return that love tenfold. Kira is house-trained and crate-trained—though she may try to escape a wired crate when anxious, she usually settles well when she feels secure. Despite being deaf, she’s incredibly smart and has learned hand signals for commands like “sit” and “quiet,” proving that communication is no barrier to connection. She adores kids and meeting new people and will happily ask for belly rubs, often flashing a big, happy smile in return. Kira enjoys walks, car rides, and curling up on a comfy bed—whether it’s hers or yours. Kira needs to be the only pet in the home due to a strong prey drive and prefers not to share her space with other animals. She loves attention and companionship and will thrive in a home where she’s doted on. She has a playful side, loves to shred toys, but is otherwise well-mannered. She may pull a little on the leash when excited and dislikes baths, sometimes trying to escape mid-scrub. Kira uses a high-pitched bark when anxious or seeking attention. With a few special needs, Kira’s huge heart and gentle nature make her an incredible companion. She communicates beautifully through her eyes, body language, and unwavering devotion. Kira is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative/on prevention.

Story
Casienova (Casie) is a loving, gentle girl who adores belly rubs and head scratches. She’s a big sweetheart with a wiggly rump once she gets the attention she craves. While she can be a bit anxious and tries to avoid kennel moves, she settles well once in her crate—she just needs a little help getting inside. Casie is housebroken, friendly with strangers, and enjoys cuddles and attention. She can be vocal when she feels ignored or when other dogs bark around her. She’s good with small dogs but still learning how to be gentle with them. She has shown some barrier aggressin here at the shelter, but her foster said she did good with other dogs, so a meet and greet with any current pets is highly recommended. Due to her energy level and tendency to chew on fencing, Casie will do best in a home with a privacy fence. She also has a severe flea allergy that requires prescription flea and tick prevention. Casienova was recently adopted and returned through no fault of her own. She thrives in calm environments and will do best with a patient, loving family who can help her feel secure and loved. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Story
RINGWORM These puppies were born under a local business, caught, and brought safely into our care. Despite having limited exposure to people during their first few weeks of life, they absolutely crave attention and have shown a strong love for human companionship. They arrived with ringworm and are currently receiving regular antifungal baths; adopters may need to continue treatment if it has not fully cleared at the time of adoption. Full of puppy energy, these little ones are almost always playing and exploring. Like any young puppies, they will need time, patience, and consistency as they learn potty training, leash skills, and how to grow into well-mannered dogs. These guys have received 2 of their 3 DHPP vaccinations, dewormer, and microchips. Their spay/neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
