Quince was found as a stray with his 7 siblings and never reclaimed. They all are PARVO survivors. He, unlike his siblings, isn't too vocal unless it's to join the group bark. He loves to play, especially tug of war, and to cuddle. He is still learning how to properly walked on a leash, but has been doing good. He did fine riding in his previous fosters car. He is good with other dogs however a meet and greet is always highly recommended with any current household dogs. Please note that Quince is a puppy and is not potty trained. His previous foster stated he would also tend to bite (not roughly) when he wasn't getting his way. He will need to be trained out of his bad habits or else he won't know better and make the house a mess. Quince, while still active and playful, is the laziest of his siblings. Quince has received all of his puppy shots, de-wormer, and a microchip. His neuter will be set at the time of adoption. Quince has seemed indifferent to loud noises, and may be partially or totally deaf.

Outlaw was adopted from us on 2/20 and returned due to him tearing up doors while left alone. It is HIGHLY recommended you leave him in a crate when he is left alone. Outlaw is a happy guy that loves to greet everyone. He lost his first home to a fire, and his family was not able to take him back. Outlaw is a very smart dog that understands "yes" and "no," and knows "sit" and "lay down." Outlaw is very dog selective and would do best as the only dog in the home. He does tend to resource guard his toys around other dogs. He can be a little strong on a leash and does have an issue with pulling; Outlaw is reactive towards other dogs on a leash and will lunge at them. Outlaw has a strong prey drive and will try to go after cats. He is pretty reactive towards horses and other livestock and should not be homed near them. His previous fosters said he was potty trained and did not have any accidents inside. Outlaw did very well when left out in the home while no one was there. He loves going on walks and taking car rides. If he is left loose without a passenger in the car, Outlaw will bounce around from seat to seat and eventually tries to get into the driver's lap. Outlaw loves baths and getting brushed, but absolutely hates when his feet are touched or grabbed. He loves attention, and would do well with older children that could play with him. His fosters stated that he LOVES playing fetch. He does have a tendency to chew on things he shouldn't if they are left where he can reach them. He has done well in a crate while his kennel is being cleaned. His previous fosters said he did whine when left in a crate, so he may have some separation anxiety. Outlaw does have a bad flea allergy, and will start to lose his fur and will scratch nonstop if he is exposed to fleas and does not have prevention. Outlaw is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Outlaw was previously heartworm positive when tested in Feb 2023, but tested heartworm negative in Feb 2024!

Zytas has spent 7 of his 11 months sitting at the shelter, overlooked because he doesn't show well in a kennel due to his barking for attention. But don't let that fool you - he's a lovable goofball just waiting for his chance at a forever home! This happy and goofy puppy loves everyone he meets. During his time in foster care, Zytas got along well with other young, submissive dogs and was gentle with easygoing cats. He also adored the younger children in the home, though he may forget his size in his excitement. While Zytas is not yet potty trained, he's making progress with a set routine and will likely thrive in a home with a yard where he can do his business without a leash. He enjoys playing in the water and walks well on a leash, though he may pull when he gets too excited. Although he may lack manners around food with other animals, Zytas is not aggressive and loves to play in any water he can find. While still a bit unsure of car rides, he's improving. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, Zytas is ready to bring joy to his forever family. If you're ready to provide him with structure, patience, and plenty of love, apply now! Kira is a sweet and affectionate girl who despises staying outside. She's mastered house and crate training and will willingly go into her crate when directed. Despite being deaf, Kira understands hand signals for commands like "sit" and "quiet." She is great with kids and strangers but prefers to be the only pet in the home. She's not fond of cats and only does well with dogs that give her space. Kira may snap at other dogs if they invade her space or approach her when she has a high-value item. While she enjoys tearing up toys, Kira is well-behaved otherwise and has a higher-pitched bark when feeling anxious. She's not shy about letting you know when she wants attention and happily smiles when her belly gets rubbed. Kira is a pro on the leash and loves car rides, making her an ideal companion for outdoor adventures. Although she has skin allergies and a lump that needs assessment, she's spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-negative.
