Lola is a beautiful 8 month old girl that is ready to find her forever home. She currently weighs about 40 pounds and likely won't get much bigger. Lola is a total love bug! She loves her people and wants nothing more to be with them. Lola also loves children! Lola would love a home where her people were around more often than not. She has been working hard on her crate training and thanks to her loving foster has gotten much more comfortable being in one when you are away. She is very good on leash and a pro in the car. She is being fostered with a cat and does well with supervision, sometimes she did decide to chase it. Lola has also been fine with other dogs given a slow and proper introduction. Lola will be an amazing addition to one lucky family, could that be you? https://www.vermontenglishbulldogrescue.com/non-bulldog-application/

Story
Meet Mabel, the brindle-and-white beauty with a heart as soft as her favorite squeaky toy! 💖 Mabel is a boxer-pitty mix (breed not promised!) with golden eyes that sparkle with sweetness and just a hint of sass. She’s the total package — equal parts gentle snugglebug and goofy playmate. Her dream day? Snoozing on a cozy couch, collecting belly rubs, squeaking her beloved stuffies to her heart’s content, and basking in the love of her people. Mabel is the kind of girl who gives her whole heart once she trusts you — she just takes a minute to make sure you’re as kind as you look. Once she knows you’re safe, get ready for the melt-your-heart cuddles and her signature “Mabel lean,” where she presses her whole body against you for hugs. She loves love and is the perfect match for someone who wants a calm, affectionate companion who’s happiest just being near you. Watch Mabel in action here! https://youtu.be/tWLIvDsTjH8?si=5UhqFJb2MAA5_K-f She enjoys the company of other dogs who have good manners — she’s kind of like the hall monitor of the playgroup, gently reminding everyone to keep things civilized. 😆 She has a soft spot for respectful, chill doggy friends but could just as happily be the only spoiled princess soaking up all the attention herself. Mabel also met a kitty friend and did great — she was curious but polite, choosing to quietly observe instead of chase. With a slow introduction and some supervision, she could share her home with a confident cat buddy. This gorgeous girl is low-energy at heart, more of a “Netflix-and-snack” gal than a “5-mile-hike” type. She’s gentle, easy to correct, and loves routine. Because she can get a little unsure of other dogs while on leash, she’d do best in a home (no apartments, please!) where she can relax and enjoy life without too many leashed meet-and-greets. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful companion with the perfect mix of cuddle and character, Mabel’s your girl. 💕 One look into those golden eyes, and you’ll be absolutely smitten — promise. Mabel’s dream home: Calm, loving humans, maybe a respectful dog friend or a cat, a cozy couch, and endless squeaky toys. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
If you're looking for a best friend with the absolute best smile and a sugary sweet affectionate soul, meet Tango the kissy Dancer. This boy is the full package: loyal, playful, soooo loving, and a total goofball with the pittie head that’ll make you fall in love at first sight! We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix around 9 months old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He has the perfect little compact body and the most handsome face ever. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed are our best guess and cannot be guaranteed. Check out Tango here: https://youtu.be/CS4K0UqmYSs Tango has never met a stranger. He’s the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly makes everyone feel like they’ve been best friends for years. And if you’ve got treats? Well, buckle up, because you’ve just become the center of his universe. He was not shy giving everyone at the property his undivided attention for a quick round of kisses and puppy tail wags. Treats are the way to this boy’s heart, and he’ll show his appreciation with his signature toothy grin and the happiest tail wag you’ve ever seen. His love for people runs deep. His foster says her favorite thing about him is how he’ll climb into her lap and just gaze at her like she’s the most important person in the world. He is cuddly beyond belief and would absolutely thrive in a home where he can curl up next to you, soaking in all the love you have to give. Tango has lived harmoniously with a full dog squad, four pups in total, and he's been the life of the party. Whether it’s his dominant older foster sister, his high-energy lab buddy, or two playful 1.5-year-old boys. He knows how to read the room and match energy. He plays respectfully, knows when to follow the rules, and can roughhouse with the best of them. He also attends a daycare where he mingles like a pro with a group of 20-30 dogs. His best friends there? A Doberman and another pittie. He really shines around dogs his size or playful puppies who love a good game of chase. He would thrive in a home with another medium energy dog to spend his days with. After a bit of play, Tango knows how to settle down. One of our favorite moments with him was after the crowd cleared and he just hung out with us in a quiet room, relaxed and content, soaking up some one-on-one time. He’ll make a great adventure buddy followed by an evening relaxing on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash and would be the kind of dog you take to the park, patio, or trail and know he’ll be right by your side, smiling the whole way. At home, he’s crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. He would do best in a home with a yard to run off his zoomies, and we can easily see him thriving with older, dog-savvy kids who’ll love him as much as he loves them. If there is a certain age that you are curious to know how Tango interacts with, let us know. We will be happy to find out. We want to make sure he is perfect for your family! Cats, however, are not his cup of tea. He’s all about the people and the pups. He doesn’t need much to be happy, just a little space to play, a lap to lean into, and someone to share his big heart with. Tango is the definition of man’s best friend, but really, he’s everyone’s best friend. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, treat-motivated cuddle machine with the biggest heart and a head you’ll want to smooch daily, Tango the kissy Dancer is ready to two-step his way right into your life. Story
One thing is certain with Chanel Belle, this girly loves to love and she adores people. She is the type that will lay snuggled up on the couch with you on a lazy Sunday watching your favorite show and the type that will be your little helper while you do things around the house or in the yard. Chanel Belle is the perfect example of a dog that is just happy to be with you, no matter where you are. She loves every single person that she meets and tries to give them a hug. Her whole body wiggles and her docked tail is moving at maximum speed. It's so cute! Watch her video and see the cutest wigglebutt ever: https://youtu.be/D5KmlZKgcYc?si=30x2vnHXEbukalsR Chanel Belle is believed to be a pittie/boxer mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 58lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We do think she may have some sort of boxer or bully type breed somewhere in there because she has a cute little under bite that pokes out from time to time. Chanel is dog friendly and has been around a variety of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She is not the playful type with other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout type of girly that prefers to get attention from people. She is happy to be around dogs that have the same cool, calm, collected tempo as her. Chanel also appreciates being around dogs that give her space at the beginning to get to know them first. She's a polite and respectful gal that likes for the same energy to be reciprocated. Once’s she’s comfortable, she does the cutest little play bows and loves to zoom around with her new friend in light hearted games of chase. In a home, she would do best with a mellow male dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't looking for a playmate, only looking for company. She'll be perfect for that! Chanel also does not need another dog in the home, so no worries there if you don't have a dog. She is so loving and affectionate that she has enough love to give that is equivalent to 3 dogs combined. She's something special! Chanel would also do best in a home with no cats as she was a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. When it comes to training, Chanel is ready and eager to learn! She loves treats and already knows a few basic commands such a sit and I'm fairly certain she has the foundation of already knowing how to sit pretty. You could probably even teach her how to dance too LOL. Chanel is fairly easy to walk on a leash and only pulls every so often. She responds well to correction and with consistency and practice she'll be walking like a queen on leash. Chanel has wonderful house manners and is crate and potty trained. Her only request is that you let her snuggle on the couch with you. Chanel would thrive in a home with a semi-active family that enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood and is looking for a super affectionate girly. If you're someone that likes to host and have people over, Chanel will be the very first one to greet your guest. Not feeling super social one day? That's fine by Chanel, she'll be happy wherever you are. We also believe that she would be thrilled for her home to have a backyard where she can stretch her legs, enjoy the sunshine, and meander around with you while you work on your garden or do things around the yard. Chanel would also make great companion for a family with kids! She loves loves loves kids! In her mind, they are just tiny humans with tiny hands that will love on her just the same as adults. Chanel loves car rides and happily jumps right in. Her foster mom says she is amazed that even her dog, Milo, can learn a thing or two from her. Her being non reactive to her surroundings while out and about makes her an enjoyable dog to take places. We are willing to test Chanel Belle with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We cane make anything happen! Just let us know.
