Meet Hope! Tear trigger warning: This pup was brought into the clinic to be euthanized because the owners didn’t have time for her. Staff refused to euthanize. She is now a shelter pup and available for rescue. Please help us find her a loving home! This stunning boxer mix pup is only 9 months old. She weighs about 52# and is currently underweight. This girl is GORGEOUS, happy, pretty chill for a pup, very social, outgoing and has done great with the other shelter dogs. Hope loves to play, treats and being in the center of the action. She has been described as a total goofball with a great underbite She is a well mannered girl who does ok on a leash. Hope knows the sit command. Hope will make a great family addition! We can’t say enough good things about this girl.

Kenji Cowboy has that sweet, slightly bashful charm that makes you want to earn your way into his heart and inner circle. He is gentle, handsome, and a little unsure when something is brand new, but give him a moment to take it all in and a treat for good measure, and you will quickly see what a lovely young dog he is. Kenji is still figuring out the world, and he approaches it thoughtfully, with soft manners, a curious heart, and an increasingly brave little cowboy spirit. He is currently fostered in a loving home with other dogs and has been getting plenty of opportunities to experience life beyond the house too. His foster regularly brings him along for patio lunches and dinners in the city, and Kenji handles those outings with a wonderfully calm demeanor for such a young dog. He is not trying to work the room or introduce himself to every person who passes. He is much more content hanging with his person, watching the world go by, and quietly taking everything in. He has good basic leash skills and is treat motivated and eager to learn, giving his future family a really nice foundation to continue building on. Kenji is dog friendly and wonderfully polite when meeting new dogs. He can be shy at first and prefers a little time to decide that his new acquaintance is, in fact, friend material. Once he warms up, he is a sweet and gentle playmate. He is not the type to barrel into an introduction demanding immediate friendship, and his softer approach makes him especially endearing. One thing that can convince this reserved cowboy to cut loose? The water hose. Kenji loves playing in the water, and it is an adorable glimpse of the silly young dog underneath that initially cautious exterior. He is also a great car companion once aboard. Kenji has not quite cracked the complicated engineering problem of getting himself into the car yet, so he currently appreciates a little boost. Once inside, however, he settles in and rides peacefully and happily. Kenji was polite when introduced to our house cat, although he was clearly unsure what exactly he was supposed to make of this strange little creature. Because he does not currently live with cats, we would recommend some initial boundaries, thoughtful introductions, and supervision if his future home includes a feline friend while everyone gets comfortable with one another. At nine months old, Kenji still has plenty to learn, but there is something really special about the foundation already there. He is gentle, affectionate, observant, dog friendly, easy to take out into the world, and very willing to learn when treats are part of the negotiation. He may need a little encouragement for some of life's firsts, but every new experience is another chance for this sweet cowboy to discover that he can do it. Hilaria is an 8-month-old, 35-pound Boxer mix with a bright mind, a loving heart, and a playful spirit. She is a lovely young dog who is looking for a home that understands her needs and will give her the structure, exercise, and guidance she needs to thrive. Around adults, Hilaria is wonderfully respectful of boundaries and has a sweet, easygoing side. She learns quickly and responds well to direction—tell her “off” or “no” when she gets somewhere she shouldn’t be, and she’s happy to listen. She is also showing great potential with house training and has already learned to let her people know when she needs to go outside. Hilaria is happiest when she gets to PLAY! She absolutely loves her flirt stick and tug/rope toys and can happily keep a game going for an hour or more. After she has had a good workout, she settles nicely and is more than happy to enjoy some belly rubs and downtime with her people. She also rides well in the car and enjoys being with her humans. She is still very much a puppy and has some important things to work on. Hilaria is reactive toward other dogs when they are in sight . She will need an experienced adopter who is prepared to continue working on her leash reactivity and can manage her environment while she learns. Hilaria is not currently a good match for a home with young children. She sees them more as a toy to play with. She would likely be fine with teenagers, just not babies and toddlers right now. Koda Gallego | Your New Best Friend Koda is one of those puppies who makes you wonder how a dog this young can already be so incredibly affectionate. With his tan coat, adorable black snout, and irresistible puppy-dog eyes, Koda is basically a professional cuddler in training—and he's very serious about his work! Estimated to have been born around May 17, 2026, Koda currently weighs approximately 27 lbs and is believed to be a Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix. He wants to be wherever his humans are and is happiest when he's sitting in your lap, being held, or covering your face with puppy kisses. He has such a naturally friendly, affectionate personality that it didn't take long to fall completely in love with him. He's also been introduced to other dogs and a cat and has done wonderfully with both.
