She can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her joyful and comical personality shines through. 🥰 Addie does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys chasing, mild play, and having canine friends around, but she isn’t a fan of super rough play. She’s looking for a home where she can continue to build confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be. Hilaria is an 8-month-old, 35-pound Boxer mix with a bright mind, a loving heart, and a playful spirit. She is a lovely young dog who is looking for a home that understands her needs and will give her the structure, exercise, and guidance she needs to thrive. Around adults, Hilaria is wonderfully respectful of boundaries and has a sweet, easygoing side. She learns quickly and responds well to direction—tell her “off” or “no” when she gets somewhere she shouldn’t be, and she’s happy to listen. She is also showing great potential with house training and has already learned to let her people know when she needs to go outside. Hilaria is happiest when she gets to PLAY! She absolutely loves her flirt stick and tug/rope toys and can happily keep a game going for an hour or more. After she has had a good workout, she settles nicely and is more than happy to enjoy some belly rubs and downtime with her people. She also rides well in the car and enjoys being with her humans. She is still very much a puppy and has some important things to work on. Hilaria has an alpha personality. She likes to play rough which isn't for every dog. If there is another dog in the home, we will need a meet and greet Hilaria is not currently a good match for a home with young children. She sees them more as a toy to play with. She would likely be fine with teenagers, just not babies and toddlers right now. He's equal parts cuddle bug, clown, and loyal best friend, and his expressive Boxer face will have you laughing in no time. When Bucky first came to us, he was covered in ticks and needed some extra care. Through every vet visit and treatment, he was an absolute gentleman: patient, brave, and endlessly sweet. Bucky recently went into a foster home, where he's been working on his skills around other dogs, and he's making great progress! One of our fabulous fosters has muzzle conditioned him, so he's comfortable and relaxed wearing one. He's now happily sharing a home with another male dog, with careful management in place. He's also met dogs on outings without any issues. With the right canine companion, slow introductions, ongoing muzzle work, separate spaces, and clear structure, Bucky could successfully live in a home with another dog. With people, his heart is wide open. Bucky bonds deeply with his humans and loves being part of their everyday routines, whether that's running errands, hanging out in the yard, or snuggling up for some well-earned couch time. In fact, he’s much more comfortable with people who don’t force an interaction and simply allow him to approach when he’s ready. Give him that choice, take the pressure off, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly he begins to warm up. And once he decides you’re one of his people… he REALLY wants to be your person. ❤️ Dozer is incredibly affectionate with those he trusts.
