Because when you’re this lovable, wiggly, and impossible not to adore, you deserve a name that sounds like a hug. And let me tell you… I am a hug in dog form. I’m a big, lanky, floppy, happy boy with a giant heart and zero shame about belly rubs. I will dramatically roll over, squirm, wiggle, and grin while you rub my belly like it’s my full-time job (spoiler: it is). My foster dad calls me a total goof — and honestly, I take that as a compliment. I’m fully house trained (very proud of this accomplishment) and I’m doggie-door certified. If the door is ever locked, I politely wait like the gentleman I am instead of panicking or causing chaos.  Hello everyone, my name is Cooper! I am a 2-year-old pit mix (foster parents think staffie or boxer) that loves life to the fullest. I’m a little goofy and can be a little skittish, but I’m the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I love running around outside and chasing whatever toy you decide to throw (good luck getting it back from me though!) and playing tug of war in the house.I get very excited when it’s time to go on walks, but if relaxing on the couch is what you like then I will gladly cuddle and chill all day! Story
My name is Fortune and if you ask me, I`d say your luck is about to change. I`m the mother in a mother/daughter pair and we`re hoping to find our new home together; it`s all we`ve ever known. Sure, we have our tiffs and don`t always see eye to eye, but family is all you have in this world and we`ll always have each other`s backs. I like to keep my circle small and am a little hesitant when it comes to meeting new people but I know that in order to get out of the shelter, I have to get out of my shell. I can be social with other dogs when I`m one on one but may be a little more stand-offish when Buttercup is around. I`m not interested in sharing my home with cats and I have had some interaction with children. I struggled to adjust to the shelter when I first got here and I`m sure there`ll be a few growing pains in the process of meeting and moving in with a new family, but I`m going to try my hardest to be brave, bold and beautiful.
