Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Beach Town Litter Needs Foster or Adopters by 5/29 to Secure Their Ride to Wisconsin The Beach Town Litter is currently in Georgia and needs committed fosters or adopters to secure their spots on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 5/29. A committed home is required for these puppies to make the trip north, and we’re hopeful their families are out there waiting. Meet the Beach Town Litter: Pismo, Cannon, Jekyll, and Tybee, Myrtle, Avila, & Avalon This adorable group of 7 puppies (4 males, 3 females) is a 6-week-old mixed-breed litter looking for a fresh start. They are being surrendered to the kill shelter in Georgia after being part of an unwanted litter. This litter is definitely mixed breed, and while our best guess is Boxer/Shepherd mix, some puppies have striking blue eyes, so they could have Husky or several other breeds in their mix as well. Like most young puppies, they are playful, curious, and affectionate. At this age, they are learning about the world and will thrive with families ready to provide structure, socialization, training, and lots of love. The Beach Town puppies are expected to do well in a variety of homes with proper introductions and puppy training. Because they are still very young, their personalities will continue developing as they grow. Litter Details: Age: 6 weeks Gender: Male Weight: 4–6 lbs Breed: Mixed Breed (Boxer/Shepherd mix best guess, possibly Husky mix) Spayed/Neutered: Not yet Potty Trained: Not yet Crate Trained: Not yet Leash Manners: not yet Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes The Beach Town Litter is ready for a chance at a better future and needs fosters or adopters to help make that happen. If you’re able to foster or adopt one of these puppies, please apply today. Apply at: www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter.
