Story
What has four legs, pointy ears and the biggest brown eyes? ME! They call me Keely and I sure took a gamble by coming to the shelter in search of a new life and a family to adopt. Self esteem isn`t one of my strong traits but I`ve working hard on it. I was adopted once and lived a beautiful life but much to the sadness of myself and my humans, it wasn`t meant to be. I`m hoping with who they helped me become and all that I have to offer my new family, I won`t have to wait long. Let`s make our love story one of the best that`s ever been told.

Story
Patrick is a playful, lovable guy looking for a home! He’s the type who’s ready for whatever you are - looking to go out for a nice, long walk? He’d love to come along! Or, if you’re feeling like staying in, Patrick would be happy to do that too. He’s just happy to be wherever his people are! He came to us as a surrender when his previous owners realized he did not adjust well to being around children, so we would recommend that he go to a home without kids. A family without children or just older teens would be perfect for him!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Texas. All of our dogs live in foster homes in TX and are transported to their new states once adopted. All adopters must be 21+. Applications can be found at haydudeequine.org. 🐾 Hi, I’m Byrdie! ❤️ I’m Byrdie, a 2-year-old brindle Staffy/Boxer mix, and I have a very important announcement to make: **I am a lover, NOT a fighter!** 🥰 I’m a gorgeous girl with a beautiful brindle coat, but my favorite thing about myself is my heart. I’m super sweet, silly, and absolutely love my people. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a minute and I’ll warm right up. Once I decide you’re my friend, prepare yourself for lots of love! I also really like other dogs and am great with my canine friends. I’m even good with horses, which is pretty impressive if I do say so myself! 🐴 Now, let’s talk about my hobbies. **I LOVE THE WATER!** 💦 And I REALLY, REALLY LOVE CAR RIDES! 🚗💨 Seriously, if you say the words “go for a ride,” I will be ready before you are. I’m pretty sure every car ride is an adventure waiting to happen. My rescue friends found me in the middle of a highway late one night, right in front of the rescue’s gate. I have no idea how I got there or where I came from, but apparently I knew exactly where I needed to be. ❤️ Now I’m hoping my next stop is **my forever home**. I’m looking for someone who wants a sweet, silly, affectionate girl to join them for adventures, car rides, water fun, and plenty of loving. I promise to be your best friend and make you laugh every single day. **I’m Byrdie—and I’m ready to fly straight into your heart.** 🐦❤️

Story
DERP level: EXPERT. Handsome level: OFF THE CHARTS. Meet TITUS! Titus is a 2-year-old Boxer / mix with a larger-than-life personality, approximately three functioning brain cells, and absolutely ZERO concern about looking dignified. This chocolate-colored hunk is crazy, goofy, lovable, ridiculously expressive, and quite possibly one of the derpiest dogs you’ll ever meet. Whether he’s flopping around with a stuffy, chasing a ball, or staring at you with those big goofy eyes, Titus has a way of making everything entertaining! And speaking of those eyes… WOW. Titus has the most striking golden-colored eyes that practically glow against his rich chocolate coat. He’s an incredibly handsome dog - although his goofy personality makes it nearly impossible for him to take himself seriously. Underneath all that derp is an incredibly loving boy who genuinely enjoys being around his people. Titus loves attention, fetch, his stuffies, and being included in whatever his humans are doing. He has the kind of personality that fills a room, and life with Titus is pretty much guaranteed to involve a lot of laughter!Because Titus came to WCAS as a stray, we’re still learning more about him every day! One thing we have learned is that small children make him nervous. Despite his big stature and outgoing personality, around little kids this big goofy guy turns into a nervous puddle. For that reason, Titus is looking for a home with children ages 16+.When it comes to other animals, Titus may enjoy having a canine buddy - but he needs the right match (NO cats or small dogs for this guy)! We believe he could do well with a well-socialized dog closer to his own size, especially one who can confidently help show him the ropes of how to “dog.” As always, proper, slow introductions will be important to set everyone up for success!Titus is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. If you’re looking for a handsome chocolate-colored goofball who will keep you laughing, love you BIG, and bring an unreasonable amount of DERP into your life… Titus might just be your guy! Please fill out an adoption application on our website - for any additional information or questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795.

Story
Name: Astrid Age: 2 years Breed: Boxer Mix Gender: female Weight: 50-60lbs Good with kids: yes, best suited in house with older due to jumpy manners.  Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: so far so good she's had small interaction with resident cat. We will continue to test. Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Weyauwega  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Can you believe this brindle beauty was scheduled to be euthanized?!? ❤️ NOT ON OUR WATCH! And thank goodness, because this sweet girl is absolutely wonderful. ❤️ She loves her people and wants nothing more than to be right by your side soaking up ALL the love and attention she can get. And in true Boxer fashion… she is bouncy! Personal space? She’s not quite sure what that is! If you’re looking for a dog who will happily greet you with enthusiasm and probably a few wiggles, she’s your girl! When it comes to canine friends, though, she’s surprisingly respectful. She reads their energy well and gives space to dogs who aren’t interested in playing. But when she finds a friend who wants to run and play? Game on! She is playful, loves to run, and will need an active, patient home that is willing to give her some guidance and help her learn how to be the very best girl she can be. The good news? She’s a great listener, eager to please, and ready to learn. ❤️ She was given a second chance—and now she’s just waiting for the family who will show her that her best days are still ahead. Who’s ready to give this brindle beauty the forever home she deserves? ❤️ Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.September 13, 2026, 7:26 pm

Story
Chancellor (25811) is a big lovable goof ball. He will need a special home with adults that have dog experience, patience and are willing to teach and work with a deaf dog. Chancellor would like a home where he gets all of the attention, no other pets. Once he knows you, he will be your forever buddy. He is very friendly and lovable to people he is familiar with. He loves playing with his toys and his kiddie pool. A fenced yard would be a plus for him. Chancellor has been adoptable since October 2024 and would love to go to a home. Please take a chance on this wonderful dog. H.S.P.C. stands behind the animals we adopt out. If they don't work out, we will take them back. We believe Chancellor is a dog you should take a chance with. He is deaf but that just puts him in the special needs category, he is not sick. The fact that he can't hear doesn't change his personality. Chance weighs 67#, is neutered, house trained, current on his vaccinations, micro chipped and is heart worm negative. His adoption fee is $100+tax, If you are interested in meeting/adopting Chancellor please fill out a dog application on our website. www.hspcwi.org The approved adopter will be notified for an appointment within three days. All dog adoptions come with copies of all medical records, a leash, collar, toys and 3 days of food.  September 11, 2026, 7:20 pm
