Story
Star is a 8-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. She’s always ready for a game or an adventure, but she’s just as happy to kick back and relax by your side.Star is great with other dogs and absolutely loves being around both furry friends and people. She’s affectionate, loyal, and not shy about showing her love—be prepared for some extra dog hair as a sign you’re one of her favorites! She’s potty trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands, making her an easy addition to the right home. Star is very food-motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. She’s also quite the athlete—this girl can jump like she’s training for the Olympics! She does love her water (a lot!) and may dig if she gets bored, but with regular playtime and attention, she does great. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who can keep up with playtime and then snuggle in after, Star might just be your perfect match.

Story
Moose is a sweet and goofy dog. He is approximately 2 years old. He is super food motivated and therefore very trainable despite having a tough start at life. His previous owner rescued him when he was a puppy who was being abused and then running as a street dog in Texas and brought him to Colorado to rehome him. He and my other dog have not been getting along well enough for him to stay with me. Moose would likely be okay with a more submissive dog, but my other dog isn't a good fit for him. Moose is great with people, has been good with older kids (I dont know how he would be with infants or toddlers as I haven't had the opportunity to try him with any). Moose is also good with my cats. He is great on a leash but defensive with other dogs when on one. He is also a notorious counter surfer and will need someone who is good about putting food away. He is neutered, up to date on shots, has a year's supply of heartworm prevention, and had a negative heartworm test in April.

Story
Kona is a beautiful boxer mix who will be 3 years old this May. She is full of love, joy, and personality, and she has the biggest heart. She forms strong bonds with her people and truly just wants to be close to those she loves. She is a high-energy girl who needs space to run, play, and be herself, so a home with a backyard is very important for her. Kona would do best as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention, though a calm, small dog may be okay with the right match and slow introduction. She is house trained and crate trained. She would thrive in a home with a family or individual who is home most of the time and can give her the time, exercise, and companionship she needs. Kona is loyal, people-focused, and wants nothing more than to be someone’s constant companion. March 9, 2026, 3:20 pm

Story
This pups adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Ombre can be easily startled by new people and things. He is occasionally slower to meeting new people, especially men, and other dogs. Ombre has the potential to get overwhelmed easily and can resource guard. Ombre needs an adopter who is patient and willing to continue his training. Ombre is big guy with a lot of love to give! He came to us with a few quirks that his foster has been helping him work through and he is constantly making progress! He does need an experienced adopter who will be dedicated to continued positive reinforcement training and ongoing socialization. He has come a long way since his arrival in January 2023 and needs the perfect partner in crime to help him continue making progress! Ombre can be a bit skittish with new sounds or unexpected movements and can resource guard at times. He is occasionally slow to warm up to new men and other dogs, but not consistently! He can get overwhelmed in new high-activity environments, so continued socialization is a must. Ombre is very loving and curious, and acts like he is his foster's shadow. This loving boy is a classic case of a dog who is worth the effort! With the right, experienced adopter who is committed to setting him up for success through continued training and socialization, Ombre will absolutely blossom into his adopter's most dedicated friend! He is house and kennel trained. Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/Brmr_wwiRKs ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Meet Nugget! Nugget is a sweet pit mix with a heart of gold! This friendly guy came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery. Nugget is ready to find his forever home!

Story
Meet Brett! Brett may be a little shy at first, but give him a chance—and maybe toss a ball his way—and you’ll have a loyal best friend for life. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality really starts to shine. Brett gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers not to share his toys. Because of this, he would do best in a home where toys are put away and only brought out during supervised playtime. He’s a strong boy and can get a bit excited when something catches his attention, but once he settles down, he’s a wonderful walking companion who’s happy to trot right by your side. Brett is a sensitive guy and does not like his feet messed with. He will give clear warnings, but we do not feel he'll thrive in a home with children. A child free home is going to be best for him. Apply to meet Brett today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet sweet Stella! She is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Stella really enjoys the company of other dogs and people. Give her a little time to adjust to a new environment and she will shine! While a bit hesitant at first, she'll melt into you once she feels she's safe. She likes to play with the other dogs up at PACK but can be a bit of a wild child if she hasn't been able to play in a while. Being fairly young still, her puppy brain sometimes overrules and she gets hyped up. She's done really well at listening to commands though and regulating her own energy. Stella enjoys her walk time. She may forge ahead a bit at first but once her focus is regained her handler called her a "joy to walk". She has done well being left alone in her crate and doesn't bark much when left alone. When we first introduced her to cats, she showed a little interest but backed off when they gave her clear signals. She may be ok with supervision and patience in a home with a cat. We do not have history of her living with any cats prior. Stella will graduate in the beginning of May and can't wait to start her new adventure with you! Apply to meet her today.
