Story
Meet Jack! This sweet senior boy graduated from our PACK program 7 years ago! And he still knows some of the tricks from that time. He's great at sit, shake, and lie down! He can even do a roll over but his old man hips don't love that move. He's a quiet boy and housetrained. He does howl when left alone, but only for a few minutes. It's his way of saying "See you Later!" He will need to meet any potential new dog siblings as he can be a bit picky. He should not go to a home with kitty cats! You can apply to meet this sweet boy today!

Story
Meet Curly! He is a graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Active | Affectionate | Quirky Personality | Best with Active Lifestyle Curly is a high-energy, affectionate pup with a big personality and lots of love to give. He thrives on attention, activity, and outdoor time—and he’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a morning run, a car ride, or just lounging in the sun with a good stick. Energy & Exercise Needs Curly is an active dog who needs daily physical activity to stay happy and well-behaved. He currently enjoys morning runs and sometimes an afternoon walk or play session. If he doesn't get enough exercise, he may chew or get into things indoors, but a well-run Curly is a calm and cuddly one by evening. Leash Behavior Curly walks best with a nose-lead leash, as he can be strong and persistent on a standard one. He occasionally pulls to chase wildlife or to greet people and dogs, but he's learning to redirect with guidance. He’s food-motivated, which helps with training—he’ll do almost anything for a piece of chicken! Socialization With People: Curly is loyal and curious, often following his person from room to room. While not aggressive, he can be protective at home and may bark at strangers, especially men. After brief introductions and calm corrections, he quickly warms up and returns to his playful self. With Kids: He doesn't gravitate toward children but shows no signs of aggression or nervousness around them—he simply keeps his distance. With Dogs: He’s playful and confident with dogs his size and enjoys fence running with neighbor dogs. He hasn't been introduced to small dogs yet, and his play style may come off as dominant but not aggressive. Apply to meet him today!

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Fish! She is a recent graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'High Five', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Fish is full of positive energy! She is always ready for an adventure. Whether that be with her humans or other dogs. She gets along with all dogs she's met, large and small and does fine sharing her toys with them. She can be a bit afraid of inanimate objects, such as brooms and mops. But if she is able to approach them on her own terms she settles. Fish needs positive reinforcements. She's quite silly this way. She's a people pleaser and is very focused when there are tasty treats involved. She has been on a sensitive skin and stomach food, and her skin is in good condition. We assume she has some allergies, as her skin gets red and itchy when she is on different food. It's best to keep her on this food. She does well in her kennel at PACK. Fish was curious about cats when she met them. They attempted to smack her, and she backed off and kept her distance. With supervision and training, she might be ok to live with them. Fishy is ready to find her new home by Christmas! So, apply to meet her today!

Story
Rio is the sweetest boy! He's a 7 month old mixed breed (guessing boxer/pitbull) from Southern New Mexico, where he was abandoned, left tied to the shelter fence with an electrical cord overnight. He loves other dogs and people, and is on the submissive side. He is very good in his kennel and does not potty in there, and is good at walking on leash, but can get slightly nervous of loud noises or people coming at him quickly from above. He is mostly house trained. Rio loves toys and snacks (big fan of pup cups) and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Story
Meet Patience! She lives up to her name she’s a gentle, sweet soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. She can be nervous in new situations, but once she trusts you, her loving and loyal personality really shines and she would love nothing more than to give you all the love in the world. Patience enjoys calm companionship and does best with predictable routines. Patience prefers her meals to be a solo affair and does best in a home where food can be managed separately or where she’s the only dog. She would shine in a household with older children who understand her cues and can give her the space she needs while she continues to grow her confidence. Patience has lived with cats before, though her enthusiasm was a bit overwhelming for them. She’s also quite the athlete and will need a secure setup to keep her safely where she belongs. With patience (just like her name!), kindness, and understanding, this lovely girl will make a deeply devoted companion.

Story
My mother has been diagnosed with early onset dementia with Alzheimers and cannot care for the dog anymore. This dog was left with her by her grandson whom passed away 4 years ago, so the dog hasn't gotten all the active care he needs like socializing with other dogs, walks, and other active care needed for a dog of this breed and size. Although well loved, it is just not practical to keep him through the illness and medical staffing that will be dealing with us within the household. He needs re-training for manners and socializing with other dogs and new people. Great demeanor, just too strong for the surrounding females in the household.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Annie! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'High Five', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Annie is happy to meet new people if they go at her speed. She can be a bit timid, but only for the first couple minutes. She found her way to Wyoming from Oklahoma where she was overlooked for far too long. She has gained confidence and learned all sorts of commands and fun tricks while she's been at PACK. She enjoys playing with the other dogs at PACK, but from time to time she gets too overstimulated when the play escalates. Annie just needs breaks and reminders to play gentle. She is as loyal as they come. If someone is mean to another humans or dog, she's right there ready to stand up for them. Annie is house trained and doesn't mind hanging out in her kennel when her people are away. Annie was cautious about cats when she met them. If you are interested, we can re-cat test her when she comes back. She just graduated mid December and is ready to find her new home by Christmas! So, apply to meet her today!
