Story
Bailey is a beautiful orange‑and‑white senior Brittany who came into rescue as an owner surrender when her family was required to move overseas.  Both great on a leash and trained to an invisible fence, Bailey’s manners are impeccable. As a matter of fact, she is close to perfect.  At 12 years old, she is wise, gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully people‑oriented — the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be near her person. This precious senior girl has so much to offer her new family!  ✨ Health & Veterinary Care Up to date on all vaccinations Heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives Spayed Has a clear, fluid‑filled cyst on her belly that can be drained at home as needed (vet‑diagnosed) Small eyelid bump that is currently harmless and monitored by her vet-recently evaluated Mild age‑related hearing loss, especially with loud noises (fireworks, gunshots) Training & Behavior Bailey is housetrained and has basic obedience skills. She is extremely well‑mannered: Great with adults, children, dogs, and even cats Leash trained Trained to a wireless fence system (invisible fence) Does not bark at visitors or other dogs Trustworthy when left loose in the house Loves human companionship and prefers not to be left alone for long periods Her separation anxiety is well‑managed with medication and routine Personality & Daily Life Bailey is a sweet, smart, and deeply loving dog. She enjoys: Fetching and happily returning the ball Riding in the car Exploring the woods Riding along in the farm side‑by‑side Spending her days relaxing near her person Playing with other dogs She currently lives on a farm and does wonderfully with all farm animals. During the day she naps, follows her person around, or lounges nearby while they work. She thrives in a quiet, steady environment and would be happiest with someone who is a homebody or works from home. Ideal Home Bailey will do best with an adopter who: Is home often Wants a calm, loyal companion Appreciates a senior dog with a gentle spirit Can continue her separation anxiety medications Enjoys spending time outdoors or simply relaxing with her human nearby Bailey is a loving, devoted girl who bonds deeply and brings a peaceful, warm presence to any home. She’s ready to share her golden years with someone who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them. Story
Hi! My name is Remi and I am a pocket sized (33 lb) orange and white...almost red...roan Brittany and I'm looking for my forever family. Check out my photos! People always tell me I'm SO handsome. I am 4 years old, neutered, up to date on my vaccines, HW negative (just went through HW treatment), microchipped, and I'm fit as a fiddle. Now that the boring stuff has been covered, let me tell you the good stuff about me . I really like to go for walks. Foster mum says I'm pretty good on a leash. Sometimes I will bark or growl at other dogs when on a walk, but I do go to daycare and get along with everyone there. It's a leash thing. I am very good at basic commands and will sit when asked and will wait for you to take off my leash or feed me etc. I am a sensitive little boy and I am looking for a quiet home and someone who likes to snuggle. I will happily curl up on the couch or your bed with you. I do get nervous around smaller kids and don't like loud/sudden noises, so an adult only home or home with older, considerate kids (older teens) would be best. I think I'd be great with an active senior or retired couple who are home a lot so they can hang with me! I don't need another dog in the house and would be okay as your only dog. I may be nervous at first, but with your patience and some snuggles, I'm sure we will be the best of friends. So, if you think you're my new person, please fill out an application on-line at https://nbran.org/adopt/adoptionapplication.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process and will be done by your local provincial/state coordinator. This must be completed before you speak to Remi's foster mum. Remi is located in London, Ontario (115 kms/72 miles) from Port Huron, MI but transportation can be arranged up to 2200 kms (1400 miles) with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 160 kms (100 miles). Story
Greetings, Humans! I'm Hank Jr! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Hank, a dashing 18-month-old French Brittany with movie-star looks, a comedian's timing, and ears expertly designed for maximum adorability. At a lean and athletic 30 pounds, I'm the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and showing off my zoomies in a fenced backyard. Everyone tells me I'm handsome, but I try to stay humble. (It's difficult when you're this cute.) Life has been teaching me lots of new things. I didn't have much experience with grass before coming to my foster home, so I've been learning the fine art of outdoor potty etiquette. I'm almost completely house-trained and working hard toward earning my "100% Good Boy" certificate. I can be a little shy when meeting new people or hearing loud noises. Think of me as a sensitive soul with a big heart. Once I trust you, you'll discover that I'm affectionate, silly, and always ready to make you laugh. My résumé includes: Professional leash walker Excellent passenger on car rides Certified Dog Treat Specialist Milk-Bone Enthusiast Non-destructive house guest Expert snuggle recipient I'd especially love a canine sibling to help me navigate this big exciting world. A fenced yard would be my dream playground, and a patient family willing to cheer me on as I continue building confidence would make me the happiest boy alive. In return, I promise loyalty, laughter, companionship, and approximately one million loving looks per year. So, what do you think? Could your family use a handsome little sidekick with a goofy grin and a heart of gold? My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me (and other fabulous, rescued Brittanys) in excellent condition for a fabulous new home. You do not have to live in Tennessee, NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my furever home. Please contact Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.com to find out more about me!
